Surface Art was founded in 2001 on the simple principle of providing high fashion, high quality building products from all over the world to the western United States. Since then, it has grown from just two employees in a small office to a company that now stocks over 7,000 products in warehouses totaling more than 175,000 square feet. The owners with over 40 years of experience in the flooring and surfaces industries, continues to personally travel the world in search of the highest quality products. Surface Art has an extensive dealer network consisting of over 600 showcase-aligned dealers in 13 western states. It is committed to maintaining one of the largest inventories in the western US. Surface Art services through nine will call docks as well as direct to 100's of the largest flooring and tile retailers and wholesalers in the US.

Completely Floored

We are a larger retail store and Surface Art is our go to Vendor. The reasons are simple; 1. Most of the time the material is in stock which means our customers can have there product within a few days. 2. Our rep always goes the extra mile to take care of us and our customers if something arises. 3. I'm an interior designer that has worked with Surface Art for approx 5 years and have nothing but positive things to say about this company. They have the best showroom display boards, the most expansive line of product to choose from and exceptional customer service. I would recommend Surface Art to anyone looking to purchase tile for their future projects.

I recently purchased surface art uniclic luxury vinyl floor. I spent $2900.00 on 650 square feet of floor! This was installed in a commercial business 10 months ago. It is all being pulled out and replaced with another brand of floor. I get to pay for the installation again and thank goodness the company I purchased it from covered the replacement of the floors. Surface Art backed out on the whole warranty saying as a consumer everything was my fault. Surface art does not stand by their product. The floors faded, stained, scratched, yellowed, buckled, and look like garbage 10 months later. Shame on you surface art for not backing your product. Rest assured I will continue to let everyone know never to buy your products.

We have Surface Art tile in our kitchen and bathroom, and absolutely love how it turned out! We went with rectangular marble tile for the kitchen backsplash, and white subway tile in our bathrooms.

We used Surface Art tile in 5 different areas of our church, and the product looks fantastic. The Surface Art staff did a masterful job in helping us find the right tile for our kitchen, bathrooms, library, and office. Our lead designer was impressed with the quality and color of Surface Art's selection and will be using it in future projects. We highly recommend Surface Art to anyone looking for tile products

They cannot deliver product in a timely manner. I selected and ordered a beautiful tile from Great Floors, but Surface Art apparently does not pre-manufacture nor manufacture just in time. We're told that we must wait for "enough orders" for them to produce the tile in China. Each time we're given a delivery date, we get a call a few days prior saying they did not make it and the new date will be X weeks out. How does this make sense to a customer? (it doesn't) How do they expect to sell anything? This has held up the construction of my new house. I guess I'm going to have to go elsewhere for tile.
