I found Bussell Interiors through Houzz when we moved from CA to AZ and purchased a Santa Fe Style home in Prescott. At the first meeting with Janet at the house in January 2016 I was certain I had found the right Designer for the project. I wanted classic Santa Fe but updated. The project involved the use of some existing cabinets as well as a complete demo and redesign of the Laundry Room, Master Bath and great room Fireplace. The Kitchen was an updated with new granite countertops, tile backsplash, light fixtures, new sink/faucets and new appliances. All walls and ceilings were painted, new window treatments, new rugs on stamped concrete tile flooring and all new furniture (inside and outside patio/courtyard), lighting, mirrors, bedding, pillows, and many accessories were selected and placed. I am so overwhelmingly happy with the results of Janet's work. She understood exactly what I was looking for and helped expertly guide me throughout the process. She is extremely knowledgeable in every aspect of design and construction. She was able to confidently handle many unusual situations that arose during demo and reconstruction. Janet and her staff at Bussell Interiors are experts in overall Project Management, Interior Design and Construction Projects. She communicated costs very clearly and always kept our budget goals in mind. I highly recommend Bussell Interiors.

My husband and I have used a number of very qualified designers through the years. We have never found one as talented as Janet. Not only is she an outstanding designer, she is a very qualified general contractor, our "go-to" person for all related questions. Janet is extremely efficient; her bookkeeping is impeccable and her organizing skills unbelievable. One knows what his costs will be on a job, and she is very capable of working within a range of budgets. Janet completely remodeled a home in Phoenix for us, from the inside out, furnishings, window coverings, everything - in just over three months. And she made it seem easy! She has also made lovely changes to our home in Prescott . . . we only wish we had met her before the beginning of construction. Janet also supervised the rebuilding and furnishing of our daughter's home in Texas, a home totally destroyed by fire. She did this in approximately eight months, flying many times from Arizona, again with her usual efficiency and poise. A miracle for all involved . . . Our home in The Woodlands, TX was hit by lightening and distorted by fire on July 17, 2014. Janet Bussell agreed to help us through the heart wrenching process of rebuilding our home. I can not tell you how much Janet meant to us! She ordered every little piece of the interior of this home. The house had to be completely rebuilt, only about 40% of the downstairs studs remained. She picked out, with our approval, the hardware, the flooring, the cabinets, the paint, the trim, everything! She also helped pick out the exterior brick and paint as well as the lighting. The house is magnificent! I could not in my wildest dreams have imagined it would turn out so fabulous. And, let me add, she did all of this from another state! She made 5 visits to Texas at critical moments, the first being the walk through which she was able to change framing of the house to make it much more functional. On top of the reconstruction of the house itself, we lost ALL of our furniture and decor. Janet measured and ordered, with our approval and entire house full of furniture. We have 4 bedrooms, a dining, kitchen nook, kid's retreat and office. The furniture fit like a glove and we would have never been able to afford such high quality items without Janet! We have two teenage daughters and not only was Janet able to work with my husband and me, but my girls have the bedrooms of their dreams! I can not express how completely overwhelmed we were at the task that was before us and the emotional state we were in. We would have walked away probably losing financially by doing so had it not been for Bussell Interiors. Janet's keen ability to see what a client is wanting and to put a house together is beyond reproach. I would put her up against any interior designer in the world! I also want to add that she was extremely professional when dealing with contractors that were on the job. If I could give Janet more than five stars I would!

Janet did an amazing job decorating our mountain home in Arizona. One of the things I like most about Janet is her ability to field just about anything that comes her way. Electricity, tile, faux ceiling beams, furniture, paint colors, you name it, she’s had experience with it. She was even on top of the best non-staining grout to use in our high traffic areas. My home looks beautiful! Janet deftly incorporated ideas and personal preferences of both my husband and I in the design. It feels like it’s uniquely ours. We have worked with other designers in the past and Janet has the broadest experience base of all of them. We would hire her again in a heartbeat.
