As your living experiences and expectations continue to emerge and change, I am here to translate them into an interiors support environment, reflecting your uniqueness. You can draw on my unique blend of experience in professional interior design both commercial and residential projects. I worked with a noted Frank Lloyd Wright apprentice, for several architectural and interior design firms, I am a Walt Disney Imagineer, worked on films, television and commercials as an art director and set decorator.

To complete the extensive remodeling of my home, which occurred in phases and included redoing all rooms (living room, bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms), as well as adding an upstairs study, I engaged Susan Brook to help guide me with color choices (including flooring and all all surfaces), window treatments, wallpapers, stone and tile, and furniture selection. She was wonderful to work with. I was very involved in all choices, but it was her patience with that, her willingness to provide multiple choices, and her respectful guidance that allowed me to make better decisions than I could have ever made with her. The projects we worked on were completed some years ago, and I still enjoy not only the final results but the warm memories I have of the process itself.

Susan has worked with us on projects large & small for 15 years. These projects included a custom stone fireplace, furniture & rug selection, lighting, as well as an addition to our home. There is not a room in our home she had not made more lovely ,reflective of just who we are as a family. When problems arise Susan found a solution that always turned out better than the original plan. We were impressed with Susan’s communication skills & her ability to keep on budget. She’s the best!

Susan is a phenomenal designer! She's very, very talented and she listens very well. She is happy to incorporate all existing furniture and accessories into her designs. We love her creativity and professionalism. And, she's just a really nice person that we love working with! She's become a friend!

Our initial serendipitous meeting at the Rug Studio show room due to our mutual fine hand knotted rugs obsession , certainly has blossomed into an amazing interiors collaboration which just seems to organically continue. We love Susan's work. We've worked with her for the last few years. Recently we decided to do a refresh of our home of 30 years. Susan took the time to find out just what we were looking for as well as our budget. She made up a master plan and gave us options. She spent a lot of time researching and finding items online. She selected a color scheme and gave us contractor referrals. We've followed through on most of her recommendations and are absolutely delighted with the results. Susan recently moved from our area but we are continuing to engage her services via email and text. She's a top notch designer!

Thank you for your kind words and adding the photos. Can’t wait for your four piece ottoman to be reupholstered - these fabrics options laid out above are interesting however I’m so glad that you’re leaning towards the original Kravet fabric...it’s worth the expense! We had our home renovated and "Brook" designed the bedrooms and bathrooms. The layout was fantastic! Our needs and wants were all incorporated. Easy to work with, professional and friendly. We get so many compliments. I would most definitely work with "Brook" again.
