Their attention to detail, going the extra mile both creatively and functionally, is exceptional. Lots of places claim to offer custom work, but few offer truly custom, one-of-a-kind functional art. This is old-school craftsmanship. Have had several pieces commissioned, and they are all fabulous, from the custom-fit L-shaped desk in a ski condo, to end tables, sofa table, even a cutting board.

Our firm commissioned Stump Standards to make a custom live edge table for our clients kitchen. We are based in California and Wayne was wonderful to work with, he sent pictures of slab options prior to making the table to make sure we got exactly what we were lookin for. He also designed the custom base to fit in the dining area so that the legs would not intrude and damage the banquet. The table was perfect, excellent craftsmanship and the client was thrilled. He was wonderful to work with, a true artist!

I had a problem with the dimensions of my conference room - it is very narrow and I couldn't find the right table. Someone referred me to Wayne and he quickly came up with a solution. Another problem I had was that my doors were too narrow to fit most table pieces through. Again, Wayne found a solution and built the table in the room! It is beautiful and everyone who comes in that room comments on how awesome it is. Great craftsman - highly recommend!

The work speaks for itself. As for Wayne, he is professional, polite and polished in everything he presents. There is no lack of communication and he delivers on his promises. He hand delivered our pieces (we commissioned three) and we couldn't be more happy with the results and our experience with him. The prices were fair and accurate for the service provided. We would 100% use him again. Class act, all the way.

Of all places I stumbled upon Stump Standards on Instagram. After giving them a call and speaking with Wayne I felt good to give them a chance with making my office conference room table in New York City despite the distance. Wayne was great walking me through the process and keeping me in the loop around both status and process as the project went along. Without fail, my table 8 food walnut table showed up, looking better than I could have ever imagined. Looking forward to the next Project!

Wayne is a consummate professional and a craftsman. He built a conference table for my office and dining table for my home and both are works of art. We consistently get compliments on both.

Wayne Stump, of Stump Standards, created a gorgeous live-edge game table as well as a bar for our newly remodeled attic game room. The game table is a 50” square, eight-player table with an ebonized walnut top and spalted maple base with 2 shelves. There are ten silver-tone bow ties imbedded in the table top, which follow the pattern in the grain. The bar top is also live-edge, ebonized walnut; there is a wide band of spalted maple at the top of the base, and it is uniquely finished with a corrugated tin lower base and a black speedrail footrest. The bar boasts plenty of shelves for storage, a microwave and mini-fridge. I was so hoping to attach photos, as a description doesn’t do justice to these pieces and how they complete our beautiful room. We enjoyed working with Wayne to create our one-of-a-kind pieces. He has a rare talent for really listening to his customers’ ideas and adding his own creative vision to the final product. We found his prices to be very reasonable for what are truly custom art pieces.

Wayne creates amazing pieces that are truly unequaled. His work is phenomenal and he provides great customer service and communication. I bought two pieces from him and had them shipped to North Idaho. The first piece (a giant table) was so nice that we asked him to make a custom, 10' long bench to match. We are absolutely thrilled with both of these!
