Sharon Hayden of Studio Starrs Interiors was a pleasure to work with! We had recently completed a major home renovation and Sharon was able to come in and help us bring our vision for our new space to life. Sharon's suggestions and guidance were always on point. Sharon was always respectful of our budget and our tastes. We have already recommended Sharon to family and friends.

Beth Starrs is excellent at her job! I got her name from a trusted friend, then called Beth and within a week, we were doing business. She came to my house and listened to my plans, then asked and answered all my questions. Beth went shopping with me a couple times and always had my best interests at heart, letting me steer us to what I liked throughout the stores. I have several projects in mind - new kitchen floor, cabinets and backsplash, new paint, chandelier and rug. I never could have chosen everything by myself. She helped me coordinate the latest styles of colors and textures all the while working what I already have in my home. Her talented assistant Jeannette came over to the house one time to help her measure and design a 3D image creation. It was awesome actually seeing a virtual picture of how everything will work together! Studio Starrs Interiors has my highest recommendation!

My husband and I highly recommend Studio Starrs. Beth did a beautiful job of updating our living room, dining room, and foyer, which included new furniture, rugs, lamps, light fixtures, wall decorations, and accessories. What impressed me the most was Beth's willingness to show us many different options until we were completely satisfied with the overall result. It is obvious that she strives to please her customers. She is also very warm and friendly, which made it even more special to work with her. We couldn't recommend her more and look forward to working with her again in the future.

I can't say enough about the talent and artistic eye that Beth and her associates have brought to every room in my house. No detail is to small. I have seen her work at other houses and each house looks completely unique -- AND GORGEOUS. She doesn't do HER style but helps you create your own style. I recommend Beth without reservation. I interviewed several designers at the same time I hired my contractor. When I hired Beth she worked every step with me and the contractor. Design decisions are made very early on in the process and Beth helped me with every decision so that when it's done it looks amazing and very custom and high design. She tailored her expertise and know-how to my style and budget. And everything she does looks way more expensive than you would ever think. Her ability to shop and know the product and the best place to get it is without compare. Not only is she extremely talented she was incredibly easy for my husband and I to work with her.

I loved working with Studio Starrs. Needed a bedroom and bathroom makeover. I never used an interior designer before but knew I needed help for this project. Beth made everything so easy and I couldn't be happier with the results. She took the time to incorporate my style while she created a warm, cozy, functional and beautiful space out of a very large and awkward space. Beth is very talented, dedicated, and a pleasure to work with. She will be the first person I call for my next project.

We engaged Sharon from Studio Starrs to help us with a basement remodel/reconfiguration. We had a large but oddly shaped space in the basement and no one previously had been able to figure out what to do with it. We investigated hiring an architect to do plans but it was cost prohibitive. Then we found Sharon. Sharon came up with a number of ideas for our basement and with her design software was able to help us visualize what it would look like and bring it to life. We ended up taking a space that had support poles in all the wrong places and creating a home theater/bar, designing around the support beams to make them look as though they were there on purpose. What we have loved most about working with Sharon is her flexibility and working within our budget, always keeping costs in mind for everything. We ended up with a wonderful basement and love it. Definitely recommend Sharon and Studio Starrs to anyone looking at a design or renovation project.

Studio Starrs (Sharon Hayden) provided design services for us during a renovation project in our home. Sharon's experience and guidance were invaluable to us! She was flexible in her time (we had a couple of "design emergencies:), listened to what we were trying to achieve and tailored her advice to us based on our style and goals. She not only described and drew her recommendations but went a step further finding actual pictures of similar designs in photos and sent to us as a guide for our contractor. Sharon is great and I look forward to working with her again!

I hired Sharon Hayden from Studio Starrs to help me with ideas for setting up our basement following some remodeling work. Sharon met with me twice - the first time to meet me, look at the space and learn more about what I wanted. The second time was to go over her ideas with me. She was very prompt, friendly and fun to work with. Because the work isn't finished and we aren't too sure what we want, she gave us several variations of ways to set up and use the space. She even gave specific recommendations of pieces of furniture we could buy down the road. There was no pressure to commit to using her for additional work, but I will definitely call Studio Starrs the next time I need any design help.

So Pleasant to work with. Attentive to all my requests and very timely. Has a wonderful eye and very patient . She has wonderful resources , completely honest and I am enjoying the results of her work. I moved into a new home and there were piles of pictures , objects ,furniture in no particular order . She did a great job placing my things and suggesting color, fabrics. window design. Great Job!

In June 2013 we bought our home and like most homeowners, we wanted to personalize it. As my husband has been an Active Duty Soldier, we’ve always either lived on a military installation or rented; until now. Within a few months of moving here, we decided it was time to begin our updating; however, realizing that my taste and my husband’s taste varied, we agreed to try using an interior designer in order to compromise our tastes and blend the furniture we had. I began my research and found that it was almost overwhelming; so many to choose from only made the process harder. After speaking to several designers, I contacted Beth who responded within 24 hours and scheduled our initial consultation within a week. From the very beginning she was punctual, honest, friendly, and extremely skilled. As part of the first consult and after listening intently, she provided solid recommendations that were exactly what we needed to hear. The first priority above all others was to replace our foyer’s outdated tiled floor for solid hardwood floor. From this we could then move to wall colors, light fixtures, etc. Once my husband and I agreed to use her services, she immediately began sending me links to websites for light fixtures and entry console tables. She also returned within a week with wall color pallets for us to hold on to and discuss. Within a reasonable time she returned with area rug swatches for us to match to the wall color pallets, as well as prints for our walls that she found throughout the local shops. One great example of the kind of eye Beth has was to recommend that we paint our typical oak stair railing to a glossy black color with the pickets white. Once the floor and walls were done, this added such a finishing touch that it converted our entrance into exactly what we wanted. She has a very good eye for the smallest details that help complete the look we want. Never has she imposed her personal style upon us; however, she always has provided a professional opinion. Now it’s been almost a year since the first time she entered our home and she continues to impress us with her ability to find the nicest things for our home while staying within our budget. Her experience is endless. Beth can find something at the low end or the high end of a price range; it all depends what you want and how much you’re willing to spend. We are extremely happy we decided to use her and will continue using her to until we’re done.

Last summer I sought the help of Karen Lygraaf from the Manassas office. Karen helped me select my paint colors for my living room and dining room. She was extremely helpful! She asked lots of good questions to help me figure out what I wanted, and with her eye for details, she helped me pick beautiful colors. Karen not only looks at the room that needs to be painted, but she helps to tie in the surrounding hallways and rooms that would be impacted from the new color. She came back numerous times until we had the right choice. She also has a great sense of humor which helps out so much when decorating decisions need to be made. I will continue to seek advice and help from Karen.
