Luis Almeida designed our 400 sq foot kitchen extension and outdoor deck renovation in 2007. His vision and creativity resulted in the exact new space we were wishing for. An airy, open space combination dining and cooking area with beamed cathedral ceiling and built-in cupola drenched in natural light that accommodates our large family dinners and gatherings. Every person that sees our kitchen (including real estate appraisers!) comment how beautiful and unique the room is, and often say "I wish I had a kitchen like this!". His up to date comprehensive knowledge of building materials, construction, installation, and every other component of creating a beautiful living space is expert on all levels. Luis will be frank and honest about your vision for your renovation so that there are no regrets with the decisions you make, and the finished product is everything you wanted and more. We still consult with him on smaller projects so we know what to look for and avoid any regrets. He is responsive and will take the time to answer your questions and discuss your alternatives in a detailed and open-minded manner. Luis is extremely professional, reliable and competent. My wife and I hired him to be the architect for our home restoration and addition for our old Victorian home in Westchester. Luis's work is top notch and always reflected exactly what we discussed. Luis also attended several hearings in our town for Architectural Review and Zoning Boards to speak to his work and get the plans approved by challenging and political committees.
