After updating our Kitchen several years ago using Habitar and Stratagem, we decided to do one of our bathrooms recently. We highly recommend Mitch and all his Team. They are so talented and professional. We will use them again when we update our other bathroom.

Mitch and his crew did an awesome job on my bathroom remodel. Our outstanding experience started when their designer Mackenzie from Habitar Design showed up, she was so much fun to work with. She asked for our budget, likes and dislikes and quickly went to work on our ideas and materials for our space. Then Mitch and his crew Sinuhe and Ian started work. They were courteous, professional and meticulous with every detail meeting our expectations. Very clean, every night they made sure the area was picked up, vacuumed and the job was finished on time. Not only do I recommend Stratagem construction and Habitar design, I can't wait for my next project to work with them again.

I am quite picky -- a perfectionist. Stratagem not only met -- but far exceeded my expectations and surpassed every marker. Primarily Stratagem gutted and completely remodeled my kitchen and primary bathroom. I still walk into each room and pinch myself -- the rooms are that sensational. But they did work throughout my unit, built baseboards that hide unsightly cabel cords, built beautiful bookshelves in my den and bedroom, built a floating vanity that is functional but an absolute show stopper. And, Stratagem devised an unique way to accomodate a farm kitchen sink with a garbage disposal. No matter what challenges my unit presented -- Stratagem was able to come up with workable solutions. Segue, Sara and Ian -- what a team. They were always there, always woking -- were not only professional and expereinced but super nice. And Mitch, absolutely hands-on -- an absolute marvel. Everything ran so smoothly, thanks to Patrycja who had everything ordered, ran smoothly like clockwork -- and even scheduled my building's service elevator. Five stars? Stratagem deserves 100 stars!!! Neighbors, friends and family are in awe. I have recommended -- and will continue to recommend Stratagem.

Stratagem did an amazing job remodeling my bathroom. From the start, they set clear expectations and delivered on them. The team paid close attention to every detail and the workmanship is top-notch. They were also very professional and kept me informed throughout the process. There were a few challenges due to COVID and supply chain issues, but Mitch and his team were transparent and worked through them. Even after the project was completed, there was a small issue with the bathtub drain and Mitch quickly provided options for resolution and fixed the problem within a few days. I'm extremely happy with the final result and have already recommended Stratagem to my neighbors.

We recently used Habitar Design and Stratagem Construction to update our Condo Kitchen. With all the shortage of supplies and delays in delivery and availability, Stratagem worked through all the problems and our kitchen is finally finished. The cabinet doors and pull-outs they made are exceptional. Everyone in the company we worked with was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. We would highly recommend them. Thanks to Mitch, Hannah, Kanya, Tatiana, Jaclyn, Javier, Krys, Pawel and Ian, any anyone we missed.

We used Stratagem for painting our whole condo and updating our kitchen cabinets. They were great! They coordinated with our condo board to get the appropriate approvals and kept us updated with lots of communication. The painting crew was able to repair minor damages to our drywall and even a door that had holes in it! They were able to quickly and efficiently paint all of the walls and trim (including the doors). They left our condo very neat and clean and had no problems coordinating with our condo association to enter the unit when we were not there. The cabinet crew was great. We got new walnut, shaker style cabinet doors and drawers. They were able to make them in shop- they're gorgeous! The crew worked in our apartment while we were also working from home, but they were very considerate. They wore masks and gave us frequent updates on the work. They were also responsive to the minor edits that we requested.-- Thank you to Stanley, Ortega, Javier and Mike for their hard work!

Stratagem Construction and its affiliated company Habitar Design have done several projects for our home, including major remodeling of our kitchen, a guest bathroom and our master bathroom with a walk-in closet. We have used them multiple times because they have always been easy to work with and receptive to our input at all stages of the project, and delivered professional work to our complete satisfaction. Most important to us, they stand 100% behind their work and have quickly taken care of issues even after the warranty expired.

We worked with Stratagem Construction to renovate our kitchen in a Chicago high rise. With design from the sister company Habitar Design, Stratagem installed a new kitchen from the studs up: cabinetry, lighting, plumbing, electrical, painting. The site management was meticulous, the cabinetry arrived wrapped as in Legos pieces, every piece fitted perfectly. We were very impressed with the level of craftsmanship and professionalism. Mitch Newman has built a great team. We are working with them again in a bathroom remodel. We highly recommend Stratagem and its sister company, Habitar Design.

We had a great experience with Stratagem Construction. This was the second job they have done for us. All of the workmanship is first class and the workers were professional and easy to work with. The job was done on time and on budget.

We had a great experience working with Habitar/Stratagem to design and remodel the kitchen in our hundred-year-old house. During the design process, we worked closely with Hannah to come up with a plan that would fit our lifestyle and use our space more efficiently. She did a great job of listening to us and then suggesting options and ideas. After we settled on a final design, we started to work with the contracting side to bring it to life. That was a painless process — the Stratagem crew did a great job and stayed close to the schedule and budget ... even in our old house with crooked walls and wonky floors! Their work was meticulous and clean and they did a good job of keeping us informed throughout. We highly recommend Habitar/Stratagem ... lots of people have kitchen remodeling horror stories, but Habitar/Stratagem makes it an easy experience!

Strategem recently completed two bathroom gut rehabs. They did an outstanding job. Their workmanship is excellent, as is their attention to detail. They kept on schedule and kept us apprised of their progress throughout the project. We could not be happier with the results.

Stratagem renovated two adjacent 1-bedroom condo units into a single 2-bedroom unit with new master bath and walk-in closet. Very professional and conscientious construction crew. Excellent quality of work.
