Michael A. Moritz established Stonewater Architecture, LLC with the aspiration to direct and oversee all aspects of each client's design and expectations. Implementing the idea of everlasting architecture, the firm is recognized for its distinctive work including both residential and commercial projects. Prior to the launch of Stonewater Architecture, Michael has had the opportunity to mentor and partner with prestigious architects throughout the tri-state area. Michael began his career in architecture designing coastal construction along the New Jersey shore coastline. Eagar to expand his knowledge base, Michael relocated to Northern New Jersey where he was assigned to numerous projects ranging from smaller home renovations to 35,000 square foot homes at a design build capacity. Michael has had the opportunity to function onsite as both the builder and architect to oversee the construction process through to the final product. By being hands on within different aspects of his field, Michael’s experiences have had a great impact on how he approaches his own client’s design build plan. In addition, Michael has taken several training courses with the Energy Star Program and LEED Green Building Program to ensure the client’s dream home meets the most current energy efficient guidelines. In recent years, Stonewater devoted a great amount of time to help rebuild the Jersey Shore post Sandy. Michael has an extensive background working with FEMA, CAFRAand shore and waterfront construction as well as relationships with the following townships: Bayhead, Manoloking, Toms River, Seaside, Lavallette, Ortley and other shore communities.
