We spent a lot of time searching the internet for a good quality (ie. wool, not synthetic) carpet runner at a reasonable price and thankfully came across Stonegate. Our conversations were long and informative and they were keen to make exactly the right carpet for us. We received a lot of advice on colour combinations and finishes and also how to fit it correctly. The final carpet and matching hall runner are fantastic and we could not be more pleased. As I was looking for a supplier willing to deliver a Brintons carpet to Austria I came across this family-owned company. They were the first to offer oversea deliveries. My inquiry was responded to without any delay and it was most reassuring. Although I was a foreign customer they never had heard of I was most welcomed by the team: Richard showed me that the customer's satisfaction is the staff's focal point. He thought about everything be it sampling or the fitting procedure. Delivery was arranged at the best conditions possible. An abundant communication is the key to customer satisfaction. I bought two carpets (Majestic Moon Shadow) this year and next years project is in preparation. One additional remark: With my decision on calling directly for a british supplier cut the costs by half. This does not cast a good light on my country's wholesalers. Reassured by the two successfully completed projects I decided to start a more elaborate carpet job with the most experienced team of Stonegate Carpets. Thanks to their large stock of discontinued carpet patterns I could opt for a Marquis border from Brintons matching the Marquis Sovereign Blue Flake that still available. The layout was tricky especially for me as a newbe to that kind of design but the team's expertise was extremely helpful. They took care of a matching plain carpet that would go perfectly with with the border and the patternd center. I was well advised about not to be to restrictive when it comes to observing the correct position of the pattern. It is better to buy more material and to cut it to perfect shape than being sorry for years about having saved a few pounds. Be prepared that a good result will be costly but I do not in the least regret to have agreed to some proposals. I am absolutely convinced that distance is no bar for getting the perfect result from Stonegate Carpets. Of course an experienced carpet fitter is needed to continue the job.

Stonegate Carpets supplied and fitted a landing carpet and stair runner with rods for us. They talked us through what they had to offer and steered us in the right direction (originally we were going to have a runner on the landing too) with regards to what would look best. They had a fantastic range of designs, furthermore we were after a very quick turnaround as we are having a baby! Baby isn’t here yet but runner and carpet are and look great, the office staff & the fitter were all very polite and professional. Couldn’t recommend them enough.
