Stone Creek Furniture - Kitchen & Bath

Purchased custom media entertainment center w/fireplace back in July. Great experience, and I was told there would be delays as they've had issues with labor shortage and supply chain issues. Given what the world is going through I'm shocked at some of the reviews here. I've had nothing but the best experience. Were there delays? Yes - of course there were, look at the times we're living in right now. I received phone call updates and whenever I called in they were able to talk to me. I'm not saying it was great being delayed, but I'm not going to pin that on the company, they are doing the absolute BEST they can. The crew that came to do the install was excellent. Hats off for a professional experience and the manner in which they cleaned up and explained some of the features for me to use on the new unit. The quality and craftsmanship is unbeatable! I cannot wait for the next part of my install which is coming up shortly, and I'll post a separate review for that.

HORRIBLE experience! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I purchased at a home show back in July. Paid a 50% deposit and was told my media wall would be ready in October, then it was November, then it was December 10th. No one ever calls and updates me, I can't reach people when I call. Now I am told it won't be ready the 10th. Gosh, was anyone ever going to call and tell me this? I have been looking forward to this and planning on this all week. Finally got a hold of a customer service person to be told it won't be until next week. Apparently no one ever comes to work there. Who knows if I will ever get my media wall. This has caused unbelievable grief. DON"T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM, they can't handle it! Emails to the President have never been answered.

This is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Frankly, I’m shocked they are still in business. Went to Chandler store end of February 2021. We were told the project (a triple barn door pantry, a small bench and a file cabinet) would take 8-10 weeks to complete. We ordered mid March and, paid half down with the other half due upon completion date of May 21. On May 21, the projects hadn’t even been started. We were informed it hasn’t even gone to engineering, let alone the floor to be cut. On July 20 the owner’s son RYAN came to install the three pieces. However, the job was still not complete. We owed another $9500 and, Ryan insisted on having us pay in full even though the project was not complete. We paid them $8500 and held back $1000 until it was complete. Our mistake as they got most of the money & were in no hurry to finish up what they needed to. What was incomplete were the Barn doors didn’t have the handles I ordered and paid for and, didn’t have the sliders on the bottom so, they glide. There was also a large gap in-between the middle barn door that needed to be fixed. The file cabinet had 4 drawer faceplates that were not stained fully. Were advised 3 weeks to complete. A month later, I spoke to Ryan, advised him I was going to do a chargeback of the $8500 and, will repay it with the $1000 owed after completion. The owner’s son hung up on me. Extremely unprofessional! On August 24 the installer completed the file cabinet drawer faceplates and the bench. The pantry: he only had 1 handle instead of 3. Their solution for the gap in the barn door was 2 cheap pieces of wood that would stick out like a sore thumb. And, they wanted to put two chunky wood blocks on the floor under the sliding doors and, put a slider above them. Our projects were over $20K and, that was completely unacceptable to us. So, they left and, we needed to figure out another solution. I spent over $200 in materials as well as 60+ hours of my time to perfect the gap by fabricating the metal to allow the 3 barn doors to close properly. I also, purchased and installed the rollers for the bottom of the doors and, they are not only classy but, work perfectly. It’s mind boggling that they didn’t figure this out. Jessie (the installer) couldn’t believe how nice it looked. I told Tammy that this was the solution and, Stone Creek came back with the statement, you warranty is voided now because they didn’t install it. Are you kidding me? I made it look professional while they wanted to stick a couple pieces of cheap wood in the gap. On September 9, they installed the two handles. He asked for $1K final payment. I told him about all the time and money I had into the doors that they couldn’t fix and, that I would like the owner to call me to discuss the final payment. Here is where they committed FRAUD! I never heard from the owner and, they took it upon themselves (WITHOUT MY PERMISSION or SIGNATURE) to bill my credit card on file.

I would not do business with Stone Creek (SC) again and I’m telling everyone I know. In this review I am only stating facts, not opinions. I’m satisfied with the quality of the product and installation, but there were too many delays caused by Stone Creek. We got a $600 credit for the being delayed into 2021. Some terms in their standard contract I wouldn’t agree to in future, e.g. delivery time not guaranteed. Another customer on Google left a 1-star review and says SC corporate office asked them to remove it or they would send a letter from the legal department. If that happens to me, I will update my review and publish any letters I receive. We signed a contract on 9/15/20. Est. del. date was 10/8/20. That came and went with no communication from SC. Approx. in Nov, SC removed the cabinets that were being moved around to allow for more space to be created around the fridge. When the area was ready for those cabinets to be installed, SC wouldn’t put cabinets back in there until everything else was ready, so the area around the fridge was unfinished until Feb. Through our independent designer, we asked several times if they could start the installation at least in that area, but it didn’t happen. We got a start date of 12/15/20. SC rescheduled that to 12/23/20. I didn’t want to demo my kitchen 2 days before Christmas, so we got another start date of 1/25/21. We scheduled other people to demo the counter tops, starting Monday morning. SC were supposed to arrive Monday afternoon, but they cancelled and rescheduled to 2/1. So, we had to manage without counter tops or a sink for a week longer than was necessary – making it a good decision not to start demo on 12/23. SC work started on 2/1. By 2/5 all cabinets were installed, but there were a few snags. From this point SC took too long to finish up what should have been a simple job. As an example, on Fri 2/26/21, I was told that some parts would be installed Mon 3/1. I called on that Mon afternoon to ask why no one had arrived and was told they were not coming. I asked customer service how I could contact management and I was given an email for the president. I sent an e-mail asking how did they conclude on a Fri afternoon that they were ready for Mon, and when Mon arrived, not only did they not come, they didn’t have the courtesy to tell me? I didn’t get a response to that e-mail. No one from SC contacted me to explain the delay. Buyers be aware!!! Stone Creek make customer to pay for Stone Creek’s mistake. Stone Creek made mistakes on my cabinet order. They built my cabinet much smaller than what is specified in their own design. This causes big problem for my remodel project. However, although Stone Creek admits it is their mistake, they are not fixing their mistake correctly.

This has been the most frustrating experience with a company I have ever had. We built a custom home and used Stone Creek at the recommendation of our builder. I don't know how they can stay in business with all the rework and trips they have made to our house. The design process went fine but there were mistakes made with one wall in our kitchen, the powder bath cabinet was too deep for the door to even close, the laundry room cabinet was the wrong size and the wrong color, and we still have yet to get our salon drawer insert in the master bath. The cabinet doors in the kitchen are still out of whack. Some are flush with cabinets and some stick out at least 1/8". I'm willing to live with it at this point because I'm sick and tired of having them come to the house to fix things. The reason I gave them one star is they have eventually made everything right, but the frustration in trying to get the work done isn't worth it.

We had our Media wall cabinet designed and built by Stone Creek furniture. It turned out beautifully and is exactly what we wanted. Their installers are very professional and best of all, the cabinet was installed on the day that they promised. We highly recommend them.

My Mom and Dad used this company and I have to say that when I don't have to get involved, it's a company that pays attention to the details. Trust me. When you deal with them, no detail goes unnoticed. And, the work speaks for itself. Great cabinets at a reasonable price. Job well done.

We had built in cabinets and floating shelves installed around our fireplace. Darren from the Chandler store helped us with the design and details. The installers were excellent and did an outstanding job. We will use them for our kitchen update this coming year.

We just completed a kitchen remodel with Stone Creek. We encountered a number of issues and delays but at the end of the day our kitchen looks beautiful and Stone Creek stood by their product.
