After two years and several visits to the Stoltzfus display center in Atglen, PA, I finally decided on the structure I wanted--a basic Garden Elite shed with several modifications--some to keep the local building code people happy and some to enable me to use this structure as a woodworking shop. The folks at Stoltzfus Structures were a pleasure to deal with. Peter Zook was my go-to guy there. A real professional. Nothing I asked for was a problem. He handled all the details--they even took care of the site preparation. (which was a real headache saver for me). The site prep guys were great. It was a relief to have someone come in who knows exactly what preparations are needed for this size structure and not have to deal with a local contractor. (See photo.) The actual delivery was flawless and a marvel to watch. The Stoltzfus on-site team arrived the day after delivery for the final set-up (which included building the roof)--they were very thorough in making sure everything was perfect right down to touching up the paint. This was completed in less than a day. This was a very hard working crew who really knew their stuff. I am very pleased with this project--the shed is everything I expected and there were absolutely no disappointments. Everything happened exactly when promised: the site prep, the delivery, and the final set-up. (This is remarkable considering I'm a good 3 hours from the Stoltzfus headquarters.) The attached photos were taken the very day the work was complete--there was no site damage or cleanup necessary. Great job Peter and the rest of the Stoltzfus team! Anyone considering buying a prebuilt shed or garage needs to check out this company. They have an extremely informative website and a huge display area at their factory in Atglen, PA.

My conversation with Stoltzfus spanned two and a half years, in which time I planned, saved and got quotes from every one of their Lancaster-area competitors. (I did also speak to many shed "stick builders" in my area - but their processes were far less transparent with prices that were at least 15% higher). During my research, I came to learn that there are only a few shed builders that can offer Stoltzfus's level of service for larger projects, but none that offered Stoltzfus's value. In the end, I went with Stoltzfus for my 1000+SF garage. These guys don't know "no." I had many (literally) last minute change requests, of which they each fulfilled. If you're price conscience like me and don't like to work with heavy-handed people (how many sales people do you know that would wait 30 months for a customer to decide, answering loads of questions - conceivably "for free" - along the way?), then do yourself a favor and call these guys to get your building done right.

Buying a 12' X 16' Stoltzfus Structure was very easy, quick, and pleasant experience. From Brittany in Customer Service to Peter in Scheduling and then onto Moses who delivered and installed the shed. The whole process went like clock work, communications was excellent, product knowledge was outstanding, the young people were very polite and very respectful. In today's environment, we all wonder where our country is heading and no one likes what they see. It is so reassuring to know that people with the qualities of Brittany, Peter, and Moses will be our leaders as we all get older and hand the command over to the younger generation. We had a 2 car garage built from Stoltzfus Structures. The whole process took approximately 1 month from start to completion. Mark was extremely professional and patient with me during all the changes I was making. He responded to my emails in a very timely manner making this purchase painless. From the delivery to the knowledgable craftsmen who completed the structure on site was perfect. I couldn't be happier with my garage and the company I purchased it from.
