Stockell Custom Homes builds truly Custom Homes. Every home we build is a one of a kind original – as unique as its owners. We do not build subdivisions. Our homes are not “customized” subdivision houses built on your lot. Our homes are Custom Designed focusing on our clients’ unique tastes and lifestyles. It’s not about how many homes we build in a year, it’s about insuring each of our homes is constructed, inspected and verified to our above industry standards. It’s about structural integrity, moisture control, energy efficiency and indoor air quality. It’s not about using cheap products that look good at move-in, but will need replacing in just a few years. It’s about using excellent products that look great and will last generations. It’s a whole different mindset.

This is the best house we ever lived in. Stockell Custom Homes built a state-of-the-art energy efficient house that is cost effective beyond our expectations. We have solar panels and geothermal HVAC. We built during Covid which presented labor and product shortages along with wildcat pricing. Don and his team met each hurdle with patience and innovative solutions. Don joined our meeting with our architect, Ed Stevens, and had valuable input on creating a beautiful forever home. We have wheelchair accessibility with an elevator and no step up from the garage that has double entry to the house. Everyone who walks in the front door says how beautiful our house is. Thank you Stockell!

Don and his company replaced the deck on our home. He personally visited our home and determined the scope of work, the bid was comprehensive yet easy to understand. The bid price was excellent compared to the 3 others that we got. We were super excited with the communication, knowledge, experience and flexibility of the crew. We made a couple of changes, both cosmetic and structural resulting in a fantastic job. Most impressive was their willingness to stain the ends of each deck board at installation, this was recommended by our painter for a longer lasting deck. In my book, that's over the top!!! Everyday, a clean and safe site. Excellent Job. If you would like to see it, just ask Don for a tour.

We used Stockell Construction for our basement remodel and were so happy with the results that we used them again for our Master Bedroom/Bathroom addition, along with a new roof, siding and deck. Don had great suggestions during the planning process with our architect. His team did quality work, and we always felt that they wanted everything to be done right. They paid attention to detail and wanted to be sure that we were happy with the outcome. We were pleased with their recommendations for plumbing, cabinet and flooring providers. The subcontractors they used also did quality work. Other than a few changes we requested, they completed the project as budgeted. Our project manager did a great job of coordinating everything and addressed all of our questions and issues throughout the project.

I can't say enough great things about Don Stockell and his team. Our remodel looks great, his team was professional and was here on time every time they were scheduled. His job supervisor, Tom, was knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, scheduled and supervised all subcontractors, and was wonderful to work with. Because of the quality of the work that was done even the permit inspections were a breeze. We definitely plan on using them again for additional remodeling.

You can't go wrong using Don Stockell for any size project, and I'm not just saying that because he's my brother in law! . He has the utmost integrity, honesty, expertise, work ethic and follow up in the industry. He has done small projects from making our home handicapped accessible, to complex projects like adding a three level elevator to an existing home. We have used Don and his team to create a wine cellar/man cave, to finish a lower level, and on exterior projects. Each project you will be supplied with a detailed bid, along with Don's extensive expertise and input. He will then do exactly what he promises, in beautiful detail and with daily cleanup. Highly recommend!!

Stockell Custom Homes was recommended to us by a well known decorator that we have used for years. Don provided great ideas on how to enhance the project we were interested in and came up with a fair price for the work. During the project both Don and Tom were always available, they kept us well informed of progress and made sure that the subcontractors paid attention to details. We are very happy with the end product and would definitely use them again.

Don Stockell and his team have done several remodels on our home. He is very reliable, on time, and so professional. Our bathroom was a complete redo. His team laid the floor , put in the tub , shower and toilet. They also painted, installed the vanity , mirrors and lights! It's gorgeous.
