Steve is a master craftsman, a consummate professional, reliable, honest, and personable. It was a pleasure to work with him and he deserves the highest of recommendations. He did an amazing job with our kitchen cabinets and a more amazing job dealing with us. He was professional in every aspect, straight forward clear communication on his process, timelines and expectations made the process easy. He provided creative and accommodating solutions to our kitchens idiosyncrasies while maintaining his focus on quality and workmanship. His attention to detail has transformed our kitchen into the showpiece of our home. We cannot recommend him enough.

Steve did an amazing job of designing, building, and installing our kitchen cabinetry. He built it for us in software first so we could visualize and make adjustments which was super helpful. He has detailed knowledge of what works in kitchens and made lots of suggestions for things we would have missed. He patiently went back and forth with us to get us just what we wanted. The final product is not only beautiful but super functional as well. He invests in high-end hardware which makes such a difference in how the drawers and doors operate. He is also very detail-oriented and spent lots of time getting everything installed perfectly. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I had the pleasure to work with Steve on the contruction of our dream home. He did the custom cabinetry throughout utilizing white oak in the master and walnut in the kitchen. Precision and quality throughout beyond anything I’ve seen, the man knows his stuff. Totally nailed the knife edge design proposed by the architecture firm. On top of that he’s an amazing guy, has great energy, on time with deliverables and fair with his pricing. I’m looking forward to future projects.

Steve Tull is a perfectionist with a sense of humor, a rare, delightful combination. He constructed and installed custom kitchen cabinets as part of an extensive kitchen renovation project in a 1953 home, from 2018 through 2019, with a budget of over $100,000. We admired Steve's work in a friend's kitchen, and were not disappointed to have followed her enthusiastic recommendation of him for our project. Throughout the project Steve was steadfast, communicative, prompt, and a calming presence, besides being a master craftsman/designer. Steve's cabinetry is exquisite: best quality woods, cut and matched to accentuate their beauty; precision fitting with timely installation; and, finishing details that insure all cabinets and drawers operate effortlessly. Steve's substantial experience as both a designer and cabinet maker were invaluable for our quirky, difficult kitchen remodeling project. His tasteful, sensible design suggestions, and understanding of spatial relationships, transformed a sadly out-dated, deteriorated 1953 kitchen into a lovely, efficient workspace, perfectly appropriate for our classic mid-century modern home, yet meeting contemporary requirements. Steve's humor and kindness allowed our project to flow smoothly. He was a delight for us, the clients, and we always looked forward to his arrival. Moreover, he was respected, and heeded, by the project's architect, contractor, and vendors. Steve achieved consensus on a difficult lighting problem that required an ingenious cabinetry solution to satisfy a design demand for under-cabinet lighting. He re-fitted a refrigerator space to accommodate an unforeseen change in product sizing. And, he cleverly added two small, hidden drawers in a completed recycling pull-out station, thereby securing even more storage in otherwise wasted space over the bins. Steve's skill extends beyond cabinetry. He's thoroughly knowledgeable about the entire remodeling process, fluently speaking "architecture" and "building." We were away during much of the construction phase, but we never had a doubt that Steve, working with the contractor, could solve problems that inevitably arise when an old space is completely gutted and rebuilt. He significantly contributed to keeping the project moving along, on track and meeting standards. While our budget was flexible, Steve never took advantage of the open-ended expense account. He met our requirements for custom work, but did so with thrifty efficiency, honesty, and fair pricing. Steve's finished work on this project is impeccable. I have never been happier writing a check for a job so well done in terms of practicality, craftsmanship, and beauty. Given Steve's time spent consulting and working, and the integrity of the materials and installation, we got a bargain. This kitchen will endure. The only regret at the end of the substantial project is not seeing Steve come through our door so frequently. He's always welcome.

Steve is a true professional, creative and a outstanding craftsmen. I had interviewed several so called cabinet makes and Steve was the only one that stood out. He custome built and designed my entire kitchen cabinets, wine rack and desk.

Steve was excellent in all aspects of our total kitchen remodel. His detailed engineering orientation created confidence that we were maximizing the capability of our kitchen while minimizing the risk of things going wrong! The kitchen cabinets that Steve made for us are the most beautiful I've ever seen. But more than just the end product is a dream; Steve is straightforward and easy to work with. He made several suggestions on changes we could make to the kitchen that really increased the functionality compared to what it was before and showed us 3D renderings of the design iterations that helped us feel comfortable that the end product would be what we expected. He was unfailingly pleasant to talk to, accommodating to our schedule, never missed a deadline, works great with the other contractors, and happy to answer our many questions throughout the process. We would use him again in a heartbeat- he is a true craftsman.

We could not be more pleased with our new cabinets! By far our favorite vendor from our whole house remodel. The quality is top notch and they look beautiful. From the first email exchange, Steve was great to work with. He's meticulous and detail oriented and the end product shows it. As questions came up while he was building the cabinets, he communicated well, offered good advise and was responsive to our questions. On top of that, he is extremely dependable: the timeline and price he gave us were the price and timeline we got - no surprises! Wow! 5 Stars are not enough. I am so pleased with my new kitchen cabinets - they are perfect! I selected Steve from multiple vendors due to the time and attention he spent on the front end before making the sale. I could tell he would be very detailed and he did not let me down. Steve is very professional and I felt very safe having him in my home both when I was away from the house and when I was working from home alone. He kept the work space clean and was very respectful of our home. One very important thing is that Steve walked me through many different issues with my kitchen and helped me make decision that could have easily been missed by others and caused issues. We hired Steve Tull to build a large bookcase for us in the living room. Steve's work was outstanding throughout: He helped us figure out what design best fit our home, he even provided numerous drawings so we could see what the different designs would look like. The actual installation was quick and highly professional. Steve had to move some plugs so they would still be accessible and not be in the way of the bookcase, and even that was no problem for him. The finished product is beautiful as well as sturdy, and we enjoy it every day.
