Steve Clemmer

Steve Clemmer is an absolute joy to work with. I had a vision of what I wanted my office to be in my house: all desk on one side, with lots of space for monitors and gear, powered grommets, keyboard tray and more; and all bookcases and cabinets on the other side. Steve listened carefully to what I wanted and then made that vision happen. He did the work precisely on time, on budget, and with a degree of workmanship that's hard to find these days. The office is gorgeous, a joy to work in, and a magnet for compliments (and jealousy by everyone who's seen so much as the photos). I would work with him again in a heartbeat, and if there were more stars than five to give, I would give them. If you're anywhere in Virginia in Steve's work area, this is the cabinet craftsman you want.

Steve is an excellent carpenter and did a masterful job creating our built in cabinets. He used quality materials, despite being reasonably priced, and his process was smooth and minimized any disruption on install. He his an honest man and his integrity shines brightly through his work. Would recommend him to anyone looking to improve their come.

We had a wonderful experience working with Steve Clemmer on a built-in bookcase in our living room. He came highly recommended by several of our neighbors and he did not disappoint! Steve collaborated with us on the design, ensured it fit well with the rest of the space and was patient with us as we made adjustments along the way. After reviewing four different carpenters/craftsman for our living room built-in project, we went with Steve Clemmer due to his professionalism, reviews from other neighbors and customers, and the photos on his website of his amazing work! Steve was a pleasure to work with; I had a vision of the custom built-ins I wanted and he made it all come to life. We have a two-story open wall in our living room that was the center of the house but a blank slate for 9 years. Steve built us custom built-in shelves and cabinets that surrounded an entertainment center perfectly measured for our new 86" TV. He finished the whole project with custom molding and trim to match our house, included recessed lighting on the top shelves, and made his own custom stain color for the main cabinet counters to match our kitchen cabinetry. Steve was so easy and professional to work with and accomplished everything within his stated timeline and budget. These built-ins completely transformed our living room and they are now a centerpiece to the whole house; we get so many compliments on the built-ins!! We can't recommend Steve Clemmer enough!!!

Steve did a beautiful job building a custom built-in bookcase in our living room, and totally transformed the space.
