Working with Stephanie was a great experience. Not only was she highly professional and extremely easy to get along with she also created a space that is amazing! We hired four other designers before Stephanie to create the space we envisioned and no one could do it as the house had many challenges but Stephanie did. She gave us more than we envisioned. The bathroom she designed has been compared to the Four Seasons by other professionals and I have to say that is exactly what it feels like every day we use it. Stephanie helped me decorate my parlor and kitchen in the spring of 2013 after doing a fantastic job of decorating my dining room the year before! From the beginning she was mindful of my wants and needs, as well as budget constraints. She encouraged me to stretch my thinking and the end product is something that my guests always rave about. For example, I have plantation shutters in all three rooms and when she suggested window covereings I balked. However, that has turned out to be my favorite part of the entire house. Stephanie is so much fun to work with. She listened to what I wanted and came back repeatedly with drawings and samples to consider. She referred me to quality professionals (painters, electricians, fabric stores, picture-hangers, etc.) which she had done business with before. I appreciated Stephanie's timely manner in working and answering all of my questions either by email or phone. I have referred Stephanie to one of my close friends and she was very pleased with her work. I am one happy Fan client!

Stephanie did a masterful job of bringing our first floor to life. She knew what colors and fabrics would suit my taste as well as our historic home. We love the transformation. And I am anxious to work with her again on the rest of the house! One of Stephanie's strengths is her color sense. The paint colors turned blah rooms into show stoppers. We recently completed our first project with Stephanie. I love her sense of classic design working in an historic home. She is professional, courteous and a clever creative. Based on several recommendations from people I know, I hired Stephanie to pick out fabric and design window treatments for 3 windows leading up our staircase. I wanted fabric that was fun yet would fit in with our formal dining room, and I really didn't have any idea what I wanted outside of that. She seemed to immediately understand what I needed and provided a solution that I was extremely happy with. First she brought over several fabrics in different colors, styles, patterns, weights, etc. to just get a feel for what I liked. After that she went shopping and literally picked out the PERFECT fabrics. After looking at the fabric options, we ended up doing a fun pattern on one side and a more traditional one on the other side. After discussing different design options, she had the window treatments made and installed, and her design was such that you can see both sides of the fabric. Several people have commented on how great they look and how perfect they are for the space. I found Stephanie to be easy and fun to work with, as well as a really good listener and a problem solver, and wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again for my next project.

We bought our forever home when we retired. My mother came out to see our new home and kept talking about other peoples beautiful homes! Last year, we hired Stephanie. This time when Mom came back to visit all we heard was how beautiful our home is and how warm and inviting. She loved the house! Stephanie is so talented she is Mother-in-law approved! Our home looks incredible. We are so very happy we called Stephanie!

My husband and I decided to renovate our entire 100 year old historic home and Stephanie was up to the challenge! She brought in building contractors, painters, plumbers, electricians, floor refinishers and a specialty faux painter; selected all the fixtures, overhead lighting/fans, lamps, area rugs, etc. Her sharp eye for detail and color was amazing! She designed the bathrooms and executed her plans flawlessly. The room colors were beyond our imagination - she simply bought much needed love and care to this old home and turned it into a show place! We would not hesitate to hire her for another home, whether it be new or old! It was one of the most stress free experiences we have ever had in this home of 30 years!
