For those reading, this is the forth or fifth edit of disparaging reviews left by Mr Singh over a 4 month period. This edit does finally comply with Houzz review policy, so I have decided to finally reply. Let me put things into context. Mr. Singh never intended to have anyone manage his project. His main goal was to use a licensed contractor for permitting and to cover the liability of structural elements that were uncovered during a demo of what should have been limited to the affected flooring. Mr Singh was already acting as owner/contractor and had already contracted with various subcontractors. After asking for a separate invoice/SOW for the demo that was already done so as to provide to his insurance company, I directed the he act as owner/contractor and provided link to building departments necessary forms. I also mentioned that I typically do not get involved in projects that are already underway. This was my first attempt to respectfully bow out. Sensing that I was going to leave the table, Mr Singh assured he wanted to do everything "by the book". Empathizing with his situation I did made arrangements to have a structural beam evaluated by an architect. This did take around a week, but did not not impede any progress of his subcontractors. After there was a determination of the size of a structural beam, I did provide a SOW, that also included correcting the substrate (surface preparation) and tile installation, that was agreed my company would perform. Apparently this immediately created an issue with his tile subcontractor. After some brief back and forth via text, it became apparent I was being played a patsy, my SOW cherry picked, my time and efforts wasted.
