This company is very unprofessional. They use outdated equipment. Eric is the owner and he does not value new or existing customers. He will not keep appointments and cancel by text with no explanation or new time and date. When you question it he will tell you to go elsewhere...in text of course. Try a DIY system, cheaper with better hardware.

I used Startec at my house to install a high end entertainment system, speakers in the ceiling, 60 inch TV mounted on the wall and components hidden in the basement. It is amazing. They also installed a new alarm system in our house. They were very professional, VERY clean, and VERY knowledgeable. We live just outside of Boston. They did such a great job that they went down at did a vacation home on the Cape. Hanging TV's over brick fireplace, running Ethernet cable through the house. Again new exactly what they were doing. Between $10,000-15,000 They did such a great job that my IT department at my Company hired them to install the alarm system ate our new facility and pull all the tele data/Ethernet cable through the new 25K sqft facility. Again great job. Over $100,000. I would highly recommend them for everything.

Upgrade of both the alarm system as well whole house sound system Eric and Sean did a great job in the selection of components and did a great install. They were meticulously neat, they were knowledgeable and extremely professional. Everything works well. We have been dealing with StarTec for more than 10 years. The service is great, and the work is very professional. A joy to work with!
