Studio Star Architecture’s is a dynamic architecture and interior design practice established in 2015 and based in Melbourne. Our team is dedicated to developing sleek, intelligent designs that identify the architectural potential of a space – and fulfill it. Our focus is to fuse sustainability with practical living through the experience of space, materials and light. We believe that the client-architect relationships carry the design process: from conversation to concept, consultation to completion. Being a small studio we have developed a wide knowledge and set of competences, where the combined efforts of all our collaborators has great significance in the project’s final result. Aleksandra Savic Rakocevic Armed with international and local industry experience, Aleksandra founded Star Architecture in 2015. With wide and solid experience in both small and middle sized projects, Aleksandra is focused on finding the optimal and clean design through form, light and shape. Aleksandra’s driving force is the curiosity and will to find out the potential in every project to become unique.

“Aleksandra Listened to our needs and want, was collaborative, and a good problem solver. Aleksandra’s attention to detail and can do attitude gave us the confidence to work with her on our project. STAR team produced an outstanding design from the first attempt and they did a beautiful job all the way to the completion of the renovation. Looking forward to working with Aleksandra’s team again

We hired STAR Architecture for the design of our knock-down-rebuild house. With an awkward shaped block, relatively small land size and a number of easements to work with, Aleksandra had her work cut out for her. We were very specific in our need for an energy efficient house that would not seem too overbearing given the large street frontage. STAR did a remarkable job utilizing the space and light while sticking to our very specific remit. Our home is “architectural” but designed such that it is very homely.

Aleks was contracted late 2015 to re-design a previous design by another architect due to the first architect not following the brief and extending the budget beyond the project's feasibility. Aleks's re-design not only met the brief, met the budget and made the project viable but extended the owners expectations by providing them with a far superior design. Aleks's diligence and timeliness were the best I have experienced in 43 years of building. Working with Aleks was an absolute pleasure. All associated with the project owe it's success to Aleks
