I have had the opportunity to work with Stack + Co. on several occasions. As a real estate developer, our needs are for precise budgeting, creative solutions to and evaluations of complex constructability questions, and an ability to understand our design intent and project position. Across several of our developments, Stack has excelled at all of these factors and more. Their ability to own the small details and anticipate challenges means that they're thinking like a developer on day one and adding value from the minute they dig into the plans. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to other development firms, and I'd submit that their skill set may be even more important to clients who are looking for the right construction firm to build their dream home or renovation. Stack just completed the construction of our firm's design for a super insulated institutional space and did a great job. They were professional, price competitive, and paid careful attention to some challenging details regarding air sealing. The end result was a happy client and a net-positive energy space. Stack + Co provided premium design and building services for my recent purchase, just outside Providence, Rhode Island, and I am pleased to recommend the company. Their firm offered a turn-key solution from design-concept to build-out for our new location. As an advertising design firm, our overall appearance and expression of our company brand, was just as important to us as the ability to work with someone who could provide a budget-conscious renovation and systems’ solutions for our large, open, warehouse-like space. I worked with Catriel Tulian of Stack+Co for the design of my personal residence, a modern multistory addition to an existing four story building in Boston’s Mission Hill neighborhood. The combination of high-end architectural design, unprecedented rigor, and energy which Catriel brought to the project was invaluable in reaching a design solution which reconciled a multitude of conflicting design challenges. Catriel brings clear focus to the design process, listens to client needs and ideas, and is able to synthesis a series of complex issues conceiving harmonious and spectacular design solutions. I loved the outcome of this project. As a developer, I have had the pleasure of engaging Catriel to lead the design process on two new development projects which are currently in the early planning stages. Catriel had proven to be able to bring design rigor to a wide range of design challenges and project types. We hired Stack+Co about a year and half ago for demolishing our existing house and building a new house on the same site. I am happy to say that we have had a really wonderful experience throughout the process. They were completely transparent about the budget, shared information on a timely basis and provided excellent project management support throughout the project. Our house is a modern contemporary house so we were looking for an architect and construction team that could deliver on our design intent. In Stack and Catriel Tulian we found both! The design of our house is amazing and the execution excellent. Their attention to detail and the quality of their work has truly impressed us. All the Stack staff we have had the chance to interact with have been professional, friendly and helpful. Our project certainly had its challenges but we found that the team was always willing to think creatively and find a way to address any sticky issues. I would highly recommend Stack + Co.
