Great team from start to finish. Very responsive to any questions and concerns and worked to ensure we were happy with the final product. Right from the beginning we were impressed with the time, effort and attention to detail. Frankie's design was perfect for our family and in a year where we have spent a lot of time at home we couldn't be happier with every aspect. Our kitchen's function has improved exponentially and the style fits our personalities. John and his team were there on time and extremely tidy. This was important to us as we lived in the house during the Reno. I would highly recommend Square Footage and when we are ready for the next project I would hire them again.

Our experience with this company has not been consistent with most of the other reviews posted here. They finished our project much later than the agreed-upon target completion date, nickel-and-dimed us every step of the way, double-billed us three times, and have become unresponsive now that they have cashed their last cheque. They left many defects in our home and have refused to fix them. They do not take ownership of their mistakes and look to extract a great deal more value from you than they deliver. In our first meeting, Frankie told us they are a full-service firm that employ their own staff, communicate early and often, maintain a tidy worksite, and finish on time. However, this could not be further from the truth. There is actually very little service provided after you sign a contract with them. We have had to follow-up with them every step of the way and remind them of our project requirements over and over again. It was exhausting! They say they will maintain a clean work site but we cleaned up after the one Square Footage employee who was on site for our project EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. See pics of the sawdust the left all over our personal belongings. They broke the oven cabinet during installation and delayed completion by a month. We asked them to hook up our stovetop while we waited. By that time, we had been living in the basement for over three months. Only one electrician visit left in our contract they said. So much for full-service! At the finishing stage of the project it took the electrician FOUR extra days to complete all the electrical hook-ups we had paid for! They were either unable or unwilling to plan to ahead and foresee the time required and schedule accordingly. The designers failed to account for a structural support that was in the engineers drawing. At the end of the project they had to add a bulkhead to cover it up. This is now an unsightly bulge in our entryway that just screams "DESIGN FAIL"! At this moment we are waiting for delivery on a kitchen cabinet door panel that was reordered three times, with no explanation provided. They installed a pocket door in our powder room that doesn't open once it is closed, so you literally get stuck in the bathroom and need someone from outside to open the door for you. I sourced a beautiful fireplace myself and had them install it, which was a mistake. It is either not level or the wall is not straight. The top of the fireplace sticks out from the wall, and the bottom is recessed inside it. The kitchen cabinet toekicks pop out and the manufacturer agrees they weren't installed correctly, but Square Footage refuses to fix them, along with all other defects. We provided Frankie with some constructive feedback halfway through the project. Instead of addressing our concerns, she repeatedly asked us not to post a negative review. She seemed very concerned about maintaining appearances. Now they are Long story short, I would not recommend this company to anyone!!!

I have used Square Footage for several large and small projects. The owners and staff are professional, courteous and absolutely wonderful at their jobs. I do not have any design ability and this team has transformed my house for us. During the pandemic it has been even more evident how comfortable and functional my house is. I would highly recommend Square Footage!

Highly creative team. A really great experience working with them. We've had Square Footage complete a full kitchen reno and later a major reworking of a bathroom. Frankie and her team are amazing professionals. The planning, design and communication are excellent. The work is always completed to the highest standard and on schedule! We're completely happy with the two projects they have completed for us.

Frankie and staff at Square Footage Inc. did a fantastic job on our newly renovated kitchen. This listened to the wish list and were remarkably attentive to details. I love working in this new space. It exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend them!

We noticed the Square Footage Inc van outside our condo building. We found out that they did 2 renovations in our building and we were able to see their work in person. From talking to their previous clients, we realized that Frankie & John and their team was who we wanted to do our renovations. Frankie listened to our ideas and gave us suggestions. Working with Square Footage was very easy. We started our renovation a month before the COVID shut down... and Square Footage was there all the way to make sure we would be able to move back into our unit even if the work wasn't 100% completed. They were able to get the contractors to come in and hook up the water and appliances so that we had a livable space. Once COVID restrictions were lifted and suppliers were open again, Square Footage made sure that they got back to our place to finish up the final renos that were outstanding. We highly recommend using Square Footage Inc for your renovations!

John, Frankie & Laura were great to work with and we are very pleased with how our project turned out! Our project involved a kitchen renovation, moving a stairwell, redoing a number of bathrooms and a few odds and ends as well. Their communication through the process was excellent and their team is very knowledgable. A special shout out to Steve & Bob who were our onsite contacts and did great work. The project finished ahead of schedule - a rarity in projects like these. We were really happy with the designs they came back with and in the end it turned out amazing. The designs Laura & Frankie put together were functional, look great and incorporated the things we were looking for. We get lots of compliments from guests on how it both feels 'homey' but also comfortable and trendy. Pictures of the kitchen and bathrooms were also submitted and won a number of design awards, which I think is pretty impressive and speaks to the design work. We would highly recommend Square Footage!

This is our second project with Square Footage. Again, they did not disappoint. Our dark and dated bathroom is now light and so much more usable Laura and Frankie were on hand to quickly address any changes that I raised. A special nod to Bob and Steven who attended to the last hiccup in our project. All in all, a very professional team!

We chose Square Footage to renovate a dated suburban kitchen and family room. The scope of the project was large including wall removal, enlarging windows and doors and making an awkward footprint workable. Frankie and Laura created a wonderful kitchen design that exceeded our expectations and really added to the value of our home. They created a timeline and budget and choose high quality finishes and products that maximized the value of our budget and met all of our needs. The carpentry crew were courteous, tremendously skilled and hard working which contributed to the success of our renovation. We are so pleased with this renovation that we proudly show it off. Quite often while having a glass of wine at the central island, we look around and grin as it truly is a beautiful space.

The crew from square footage were top notch, and we would recommend them to anyone. Koodoos to Steve B and Bob and Laura. Frankie and John were a tremendous help in the overall design and build of this renovation.

Complete main floor renovation, including kitchen. We are absolutely thrilled with our renovation. The crew was perfect: kept a clean environment, were reliable and trustworthy, showed exacting attention to detail, and pride of workmanship was evident at every stage. The work was done on schedule and on budget.

This is the second time Square Footage Inc. has helped us with a difficult space. Our kitchen was small, dated and had zero storage space. Square footage used the existing space and designed an efficient kitchen plan with ample storage space. The finishes they chose are timeless and beautiful. The renovation was on time and on budget. Now every morning we have our coffee in a clutter free, organized, fresh, beautiful space. A great way to start each day!
