We had a fantastic experience with John Paulsen and Sparrow builders. From the very beginning John was responsive and had a lot of really great ideas for our bathroom. We appreciated that John gave us a practical timeline for our project and did not promise something he would not be able to produce realistically. All of his sub-contractors were friendly and professional. We are beyond thrilled with our new bathroom and would highly recommend John to anyone considering a bathroom remodel.

John helped us finish our basement. The project included a family room with bar/kitchenette, guest bedroom and bathroom. John was extremely detail oriented and thoughtful. He has a design background so was able to help us with planning and building. At the same time he was respectful of our personal style. His subs were all excellent and professional. John visited the site constantly and was great about communicating with us. The workmanship on our basement is amazing and we are so happy with it. In the Seattle market of skyrocketing renovations and houses John was refreshing in that he was cost conscious. The only increase in our original bid was because of my own changes not his. I recommend Sparrow Builders without any reservation.

We had an excellent experience working with Sparrow Builders on a down-to-the-studs remodel of our kitchen. John communicated clearly and often, always showed up as scheduled, and left the work site clean and neat at the end of the day. The project progressed nearly seamlessly because of his foresight and careful planning. Most importantly, his workmanship is impeccable. We recently finished a basement remodel/ finish with Sparrow Builders. The quality of his work is so much higher than industry standards. He excels in every aspect of his work and anticipates issues before they become problems. We started our project with plans already drawn out by an architect. John perfected the drawings and noticed things that even the architect had overlooked. Anticipating issues before getting started, we avoided several things that could have become major problems down the road. During each stage of the project, he was on-sight and always available. He communicates all the details of progress. He stuck to the budget and delivered a beautiful finished product! John is so much more than a contractor. He is an artist, a perfectionist and a kind person. It was a pleasure to work with John. We love our basement finished project.

John did a bathroom remodel for us. He is very knowledgeable and was very helpful picking out the right materials. He was always on time, called or texted before he came and brought in very good subcontractors. John always gives his best and is very meticulous in every respect. We are very pleased with everything - the planning, service, and most of all quality. John always provided his opinion, never just said "okay", and was one of the cleanest contractors we've ever worked with.
