Smarter Homes

After purchasing a home that needed some rewiring, Smarter Homes had previously helped to completely rewire my home network and install a full system with a mesh wireless network and security cameras that exceeded my expectations. When I needed some additional work done to extend my system to a new detached garage I didn't hesitate to contact Smarter Homes again as they knew my system and I was certain the work would again be top quality and Smarter Homes didn't disappoint! The additions to my system were completed on time, on budget, and with the same high standard of work I expected.

If you want the best for your home or business, you need to use this company! I know that you see many reviews on here mentioning how knowledgeable Pete and his staff are, but that is an understatement. I have worked with other home automation companies before, but Smarter Homes of Austin is in a different league than everyone else. In a city like Austin, we are lucky to have a world class company give us home town attention.

Peter, Matt, and his whole team have been fantastic to work with. We bought a home that was under a year old, and found out that Peter and his team had spec'ed out the wiring with the custom builder. The prior owners hadn't owned the home long enough to carry out their plans, so we inherited a massive bundle of raw wires and not much more. So far we've worked with Peter and his team on two projects : 1/ to setup the network closet (with a rack, patch panels, switch, etc.) 2/ installing a wall-mount Samsung Frame TV and Sonos Playbar+SUB in our living room, along with a universal remote In both cases they did a very thorough, high-end job, using great equipment, utmost care for our home, and gave us a great walkthrough of the work they'd done afterward. Moreover, instead of just selling a project, they've worked with us to understand our longer-term objectives so we're doing things in a 'future proof' way that will accommodate future projects. We plan to continue working with Peter and the Smarter Homes team to build out our smart home vision. So far so great!
