Fantastic WORKMANSHIP and attention to detail. He came as scheduled and was extremely detailed. His team came in and were extremely polite and tidy. They used mats for the hallway and floors and swept up any mess they made.

We are so pleased with the completely new replacement of our old kitchen cupboards which JM did in August 2017. He also installed spacious new cabinets in our pantry off the kitchen. We totally enjoyed working with him. He had many valuable suggestions and was always open to ideas from us. JM is a real professional. His knowledge, attention to detail and quality of work were excellent. He was always available to answer questions and was a real pleasure to work with. JM was always polite and accommodating. He kept strictly to his original budget and there were no problems with deadlines being met. We highly recommend JM for any future carpentry work you may require in the future.

Built 3-new cupboards including matching the doors with current doors. Refinished all of the cupboards. Removed and disposed of cupboards that had were replaced. Painted outside panels of the cupboards and baseboards. Cleaned up after each visit and placed a runner down on the hardwood flooring during the renovation. Completed the work in a timely manner.

I can't say enough about Slivers Custom Carpentry & Design and the work they did on our kitchen and built in unit. For years I had been searching for a company to spray out our existing kitchen cabinets and the built in unit in our family room. Of the few companies that I was able to find in Ottawa, and after meeting with each of them, I was not satisfied or confident that the work that would be done would be acceptable and up to the standards that I was expecting. After all, a kitchen renovation/update can truly 'make or break' your home. After not being satisfied with those that I had interviewed, I was told by a designer that I had run into about Slivers Custom Carpentry and Design. I felt I had nothing to lose, and to be honest I was expecting to experience more of the same; sub par work that was 'passable' but by no means close to what I was looking for nor demanding from a company that I would be utilizing to update my kitchen and great room. I called Sliver's and from the moment I was in contact with JM I was immediately impressed. JM returned my call immediately, and set up a appointment to meet. I outlined my expectations, explained how I was extremely picky and that I was not just looking for cabinet doors to be taken off and sprayed, but I was looking for a professional ' factory' finish on not just the cabinet doors but for all the bits and pieces of the kitchen . I expected gables, crown molding, kick plates and side panels, all to be sprayed out - not hand rolled. I also wanted to extend my existing kitchen cabinets so that they would now go to the ceiling. JM listened, and without hesitation was able to say confidently ' absolutely' that is not a problem. Not only could I get the quality that I was looking for , but I could also get the expertise of a cabinet maker to further complete this project and all of my requests. I could not of been happier. As the project evolved, I had made many changes, and with every change JM was patient and extremely tolerant ( I changed my kitchen cabinet color 2x....thankfully he was experienced enough to always do a test door first in order for me to see it in our light at home). Every step of the way, JM was patient, professional and went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with every single detail. He did mock ups of both my cabinets and crown molding so I could see what it would look like before we moved forward. His motto was, I will work until you are 200% satisfied with every detail, and he truly did! I honestly can't say enough about JM and Pierre. My kitchen turned out beautifully, and no one can believe it is the existing cabinetry that has been sprayed out. It truly looks as though we tor out all of our old cabinetry and bought entirely new kitchen! Friends of ours utilized another company here in Ottawa to have their kitchen sprayed out, and they are in both aw and disbelief in the difference between our finished product and theirs. There is no comparing. Not a detail was forgotten or missed by JM and Pierre. They were by far one of the most professional, obliging, nimble, accommodating people that we have had the pleasure of working with. I will without question utilize JM in the future when we are looking to update our bathrooms. If you are looking for a company that can both spray out your cabinets AND update and upgrade what you have, look no further. We just had our kitchen cabinets painted and I would rate Slivers as A+ We are very pleased as our cabinets look new and the service was above and beyond what we expected.
