I really enjoyed working with Sonja. She was professional, organized and knowledgeable about the products. The first time we met she already had a digital draft of the cabinet layout and was patient in working with me to finalize the plan. She offered great suggestions regarding color, texture, etc. picking out the cabinets and counter tops while being mindful of my budget. In addition to promptly responding to all of my questions, she took the time to come out to my house after the cabinets were installed to answer a question I had. Working with Sonya to design my house was wonderful and everything turned out beautifully!

We hired Grimes Construction and SK Cabinetry and Design for our full kitchen remodel. We could not be happier with the outcome of the project or the process as a whole. I had a specific vision in mind and Katy Grimes at SK went above and beyond to make sure she found the cabinet and counter top samples to fit my idea and price point. Even when they did not have the counter top sample I was envisioning for the project she contacted the representative and had them ship one to her so i could take it home and see it in my house. Darin Grimes, who did the construction, was always very responsive to my questions and on site almost every day. He remembered all the small details I was asking for and had great suggestions for the project. The project was done ahead of schedule and on budget. I would highly recommend Grimes construction and SK cabinetry for any project you are thinking of doing.

We worked with Katy for our new construction home. SK designed the cabinets for the kitchen, wet bar, laundry room, and all bathrooms. Katy was very helpful during the process and incorporated our ideas into her design. We were very pleased with the design, colors, and final product.

I literally came in without an appointment and immediately felt at ease with Sonja. She listened to my ideas and vision for the project and offered suggestions and help when I wasn't sure. Her knowledge of "what works" in a kitchen is incredibly helpful (ie: where to put certain cabinets in the kitchen layout for useful flow). She's attentive to detail and tolerated my busy schedule. I'd definitely use her again!

Loved working with Katy. Our new house is beautiful because she helped us pick elements and designs that matched our likes (and our budget!). When we went over budget in a different area, Katy found us some creative options that gave us the same look we wanted for a bit less. We've already recommended her to people in the area for small and big house renovations. If we ever remodeled or built another house, we would definitely go back.
