Simplespace

I was disappointed with Simplespace. My transaction with them started very well, the designer I met with understood my needs, came up with a perfect design, was honest and forthright about pricing and communicated effectively. The problems I had were with the installation, the quality of the craftsmanship did not match up with the price of the product. Cuts made to 'fit my space' are rough and look unfinished, soft close hinges, which I payed extra for, aren't working well, the door to the hamper attachment in our closet is installed incorrectly, so that it rubs against the sides and resists closing. On installation day multiple pieces were missing, forgotten at the warehouse/factory, and we were forced to wait an additional 3 weeks for the installation to be completed. I do not feel the craftsman assigned to my build acted professionally, only one out of two introduced himself to me, doors were left open to the outside, furniture was moved on my porch without my permission and not put back, and they entered parts of my home that had nothing to do with the site of my installation. I think a point of improvement would be to have more communication with the company administration during and after installation. Once I provided my deposit, communication with the designer assigned to my project and administration staff was slim-to-none, with zero communication regarding my satisfaction with the product. You are left with a craftsman demanding payment at the end of his shift, a very uncomfortable situation indeed. I do not recommend this company.

We did interiors for 3 cupboards with Simplespace. The designer understood our needs perfectly. When I went to the showroom to decide on the details and see the examples of finishes, I was impressed. The installers were courteous and professional. The final product is beautiful and practical. Communication with Simplespace during the process was was efficient and easy. We are thrilled.

I did business with Simplespace on two occasions. In 2012 they designed and built a furniture assembly for my bedroom. I was extremely satisfied with the results and called upon them again in 2015 when I moved. This second project consisted of furniture for a bedroom and an office as well as storage systems for three closets and sliding shelves for the kitchen cupboards. Again the result was smashing. Though I moved into a smaller place, I don't have the feeling that it is cluttered thanks to Simplespace. They understood my needs and made excellent suggestions. The quality of the workmanship of their manufacturing and installation teams is also to be praised as well as their ability to meet a very tight deadline. In my opinion, an excellent company which I would not hesitate to recommend to my friends and family. Best value for my money!

I retained the services of Simplespace to help better utilize 3 small closets. Marcia understood what I was looking for and provided great designs. The installers were very professional and their work was clean and efficient. The whole project was completed within one month. I am very happy with the results. We needed to design & build a full closet as well as make the most of some tricky space in our basement storage area. Simplespace tackled the 2 projects with enthusiasm & skill. From the concept stage with their clever ideas to the construction stage which left our house neat & clean. Everyone we worked with was efficient, polite & highly competent.
