Highly recommend Shirey. I hired them over a year ago to help with monthly maintenance of my Mother's home. We have the same handyman every month. Reliable, efficient and has been able to coordinate and fix every maintenance issue.

They came out immediately since we had the painters there and uncovered some issues that needed to be handled in order to start painting. They did very careful and quality work and all of their representatives were knowledgeable and thorough. Very happy with the results.

Shirey Handyman Services is outstanding, and I would recommend them highly. The staff works in concert to make sure your needs are met in a prompt and timely manner. The service people are courteous and professional. Their rates are reasonable; any home repair or need is not out of the question.

Shirey Handyman was a fantastic choice for this job. They were professional and easy to work with through the process. Our contractor, Junior, was really outstanding. He was on time and completed all requested jobs within the time frame and budget discussed. He is extremely courteous and a pleasure to have in your home. He also did a thorough job of cleanup. We had our deck expanded, new flooring installed in our laundry room and a few other small odd jobs. We are pleased with all of the results.

Shirey Handyman has completed several projects for us in the past. Most recently, we hired them to remodel our master bedroom, master bath, upstairs hallway, walk-in closet, staircase and handrails. They also updated our interior doors and wall paint. As expected, they did an excellent job and came in on schedule and budget. They differ from other contractors we've used in the past because they always have someone onsite to manage your job, work closely with the homeowner, show up when they say they will, engage the best subcontractors, have an excellent eye for detail, anticipate problems beforehand and will not use substandard products. While they are not inexpensive, we would hire them again for the quality of their work and the satisfaction we've experienced with each project they've completed for us.

I hired Shirey Handyman for a major construction/re-modeling project. Everything went very smoothly from my first phone call asking for an estimate to the final day of work. Unlike many horror stories that I have heard about contractors, my experience was thoroughly pleasant. Jeff, the primary person who did most of the work, listened to me and tried to accommodate my design requests while keeping within my budget as much as possible. The thing that I appreciated the most was the fact that they started the project and then did not disappear for weeks on end. There was progress each and everyday. I have also become a repeat customer and have found that small projects were handled in the same efficient manner with an eye for details. I highly recommend them.

Shirey took us in hand and remodeled two thirds of our house, turning three rooms into one great room/kitchen and removing 250 square feet of brick (four chimneys, three fireplaces and a gigantic furnace) from the center of the space. They did a terrific job of making the house livable throughout the remodel, cleaning up at the end of every day and keeping the debris to a minimum, allowing us to stay in residence. Shirey is not for someone on a restricted budget. I recommend them for anyone who wants to be taken care of and wants to trust that the job will be done very well with the best artisans to be contracted.
