Shira was truly inspirational. She not only transformed my house in three hours, but she changed my mindset about how to organize in a way that was logical and inspiring. After she left, I was literally buzzing for weeks, organizing closets I hadn't touched since we moved into our house, giving away bags of clothes I didn't wear. I was more aware of visual clutter and things I didn't use. I've felt energized and excited in my living space. It was like she sprinkled fairy dust all over the house before she left. Contacting her was one of the best things I've ever done for my home and for my spirit.

Its hard to describe the transformational impact of working with Shira! First, every time she comes over, it feels like I lose10 pounds of stress and pressure from my back and shoulders. Shira has impeccable taste. She has a knack for turning chaos, or even a space that may have previously felt organized, into a clean, clear relaxing oasis. She is also an awesome coach and leader. When you trust Shira, she will lead you down a path of making choices that you wouldn't on your own, and that may be difficult to make in the moment (such as parting with items that aren't serving you, or putting things in places that you wouldn't ordinarily). Once you've surrendered, you end up in places that are way better than you could have imagined. The best thing is that she will accommodate difficult schedules. In my case I'm a working mom with a busy job, and Shira made it work with my schedule. My day to day is so much easier as a result of the work we've done. Here are some examples: 1. Our 2 car garage was filled 3-5 feet high with stuff. In one 3 hour session, she helped me turn the space into a calm, beautiful, art studio sanctuary that still manages to act as storage to essential items that we need to keep in the garage. 2. My three year old had enough toys for me to open a pre-school. The way I had things organized, and I did put quite a bit of effort into it myself, would sometimes take an entire weekend to get things back in order. Again, in a 3 hour session with Shira, she helped me edit the items and transform the organizational system such that I rarely spend more than 15 minutes putting things away to where they go. 3. Shira told me I needed to do something about my closet. I didn't think so myself, but she's so fun to work with I agreed. Again, a 3 hour session later, and we slashed the time it takes me to put away laundry by 80%, slashed the time it takes me to get dressed for any occasion by 80%. It literally takes me 3 minutes to put together an outfit after the work I did with Shira. My daughter had been ignoring her toys, and now she has taken renewed interest. We set up a simple rotation system that takes no effort to maintain where she gets new toys regularly. We've been having lots more fun at home! 4. The kitchen: I told Shira that my husband feels overwhelmed by the amount of change we're making. Somehow she magically managed to transform our kitchen while leaving things where they were for the most part. Except now, where it was awkward to reach things, even to cook something simple was a bit of a chore, it is now a joy to work in the space. Unloading the dishwasher for example, is so nice when everything has a place, and things don't need to be shoved into cabinets. She made subtle and powerful adjustments that totally evolved how we interact with our kitchen to a comfortable relaxing experience. In addition, Shira is a pleasant person to work with, she is wise, and has a fantastic sense of humor. She is so positive and encouraging and an excellent resource for ideas on where to shop if you're trying to buy just about anything, and how to solve almost any aesthetic or organizational kunundrum for your home.

Shira is an absolute miracle-worker STAR! She's whip smart, super efficient, and so pleasant and creative. I'm a full-time working mother of a 4-yeard old, with a full-time working father husband, and we've let our house lapse! She showed up on time, with inputs like bags and labels and ideas in hand, and helped us BOTH cut the wheat from the chaff. It now feels special and sexy and fun to wake up in our tidy bedroom, pick out clothes for the day, open the pantry to decide on breakfast, and generally live our lives! She's not just a one-off editor/organizer either - she helped design systems for us to stay neat, and one month later we're still looking' good!

I love working with Shira. She's a lot of fun and professional at the same time. I've photographed several projects for her, including before/afters. I'm always very impressed at the final product! She has great style and a fantastic eye for design. I plan to hire her to help me organize and purge my closet soon.

I booked Shira Gill while she was living in Los Angeles. She helped me gain a new perspective on my lifestyle and as a result, I feel lighter, more mindful, more organized and clutter-free. Because of my work with Shira, I am also more conscious of what I have and appreciate having just enough-not more. And that has translated into many areas of my life. For me, It's not just about letting go of the past through shedding old possessions, but really embracing and finding contentment in what I have. Having less and living simply is really the way to go. It is entirely liberating to give possessions away, and I feel better knowing that by consuming less, I am helping to create less waste. And on top of all that, Shira makes the process fun, inspiring and is super efficient.

Shira is the wonder woman of home organizing. I am somewhat of a pack rat when it comes to shoving things away in my storage spaces. Shira gave me the extra nudge to purge - something I have meaning to do for years. She has fantastic style and I completely trusted her opinion when I pulled out most of my closet and asked her what should stay and what should go. In just 1.5 hours, I filled half a room with items to sell/donate and have no regrets of doing so. If I had an unlimited budget, I'd have her restyle my whole life!

I'm fairly organized and I love to purge. But I still couldn't seem to unclutter my kitchen. Shira helped me to let go of gadgets and pans that I was attached to but wasn't using and, best of all, she organized my storage in a way that makes complete sense. Shira also has a great aesthetic and pinpointed small changes and purchases (such as paint color and a light fixture) that modernized our home without sacrificing its warmth. Best of all, Shira's a delight! I'll continue to rave about Shira and to recommend her without hesitation.

Working with Shira is life-changing. I mean it! It is not just the work that she does with you in your house, it is the change of perspective that you have after working with her. All of a sudden, I stopped focusing on what I didn't have and started focusing on clearing through and giving away what I do have. And realizing that I don't really need that much! Also, I now approach every area of our house with a new organizing vigor! It's amazing how you have one room of your house organized, you want the rest of the house to look the same. Before Shira came, I felt stuck in a rut and and didn't want to entertain because it would mean a huge cleanup. But now after having her here, I feel like a weight has been lifted. Shira is so easy to connect with and she is extremely efficient in what she does. She intuitively understood what my needs were and just got right to it with me which I loved! I would highly recommend working with her!

Shira was fantastic in helping us before and after a big move into a smaller home. She was amazing at de-cluttering all the rooms in our old house and sorting/organizing our things in order to make the unpacking easier in our new house. Shira had wonderful suggestions for storing and organizing our things. And, she had a great eye for styling certain areas including bookshelves and other pieces. Shira also sent us helpful links to make purchasing items easier. She didn't recommend a bunch of expensive items...rather, just simple solutions to make everyday living easier. We couldn't have done our move without her!

Shira is AWESOME!!!! My husband gave me 3 sessions with Shira as a birthday present and I couldn't have been more pleased with my entire experience . . . even if it was a present that made me work! ha! :) My husband knows that I always put myself last, so he did this for me to help my daily 'sanity' and I am SO THANKFUL!!! Thanks to Shira, I have a BEAUTIFUL office that is organized, functional, pared down and so pretty . . . and has stayed that way! I went from tripping over piles of 'to dos' and a completely inefficient way of working (around my kids art work no less) to a serene, productive and very happy space that is all my own. My productivity has gone up and I smile every time I walk into my new space. Shira also helped me organize my daughter's tornado of a room and create a whole new 'creative space' for my girls so that their arts and crafts are organized, easily accessible, easy to clean up and best of all, out of mommy's office! And as a BONUS, Shira designed and help me organize a packing and shipping area for my business as well as an improved inventory management system so that I can now do triple the work in the same amount of time. Shira has an incredible eye for serene design, has taught me invaluable organization skills and overall, is a total joy to work with. For all of you ladies out there saying "I can do this on my own" and "I'll get to it", do yourself a favor and just turn it all over to Shira. She'll make your space (and the experience) better than you could ever imagine!!

I realized I needed help when I couldn't get any work done in my office/crafting area because I kept needing to clean before getting to any projects. So I called Shira. O-M-G I expected her to help me get rid of things since that's much of what I had read about. I did not expect her to completely re-configure and design my space so that it is not only 100% functional and makes sense, but it looks AWESOME. I now love walking into the room- I feel like I have a new house! Somehow in 3 hours she managed to transform a junk-pile nightmare into something that looks like it could be in the pages of Dwell. I thought I needed an interior designer to help me- but apparently all I needed was Shira. Shira is very to the point and precise about every step of the way, she uses a timer, she uses gentle but firm (and funny) guidance, she keeps it upbeat and focused. She leaves you with a trunk load of bags to donate (of things I will not miss at all), and a list of "homework".

The best review I can give is that Shira is a minimalist who doesn't shame a someone like me who falls over clutter before she notices it! She's funny, kind, super efficient and a pleasure to have in the house. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a fresh start!
