We interviewed several kitchen contractors and were very impressed with Rick and the ideas he gave us during the interview. He provided a detailed plan and estimate within a few days. He was able to complete our kitchen project within our timeline and budget. We are thrilled beyond words with our beautiful custom kitchen which includes blind corner pullouts, double garbage recycling pullouts, spice rack pullouts and open frame clear glass doors. Every inch was used instead of spacers. He created a gorgeous peninsula with a wine rack. We absolutely love the marble look quartz counter top! Rick and his team exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend him.

Rick really knows his stuff. From the beginning, he came up with an amazing design based on what we wanted. He gave fantastic advice along the way when we wanted to change things. The construction is extremely solid and the materials are beautiful. Rick is also very precise and wants to make sure everything is done to perfection, which we greatly appreciated. We had York Millwork renovate our kitchen earlier this year. Now we have had them come back and renovate our laundry room. Once again the team did a superb job. The result is customized with drawers for hanging delicates and removable to parts of the counter top that reveals an oversized sink perfect for bathing our dogs. The team was professional, timely, on budget and great to work with. Thanks again for doing a wonderful job!

To sum up our kitchen renovation in one word, PHENOMENAL! Our kitchen serves as the heart of our home so Rick transformed it into looking like a whole new home. Upon our first consultation, we hit if off with what we had wanted in a contractor. We were to have all the attention during the whole renovation. In return, we dealt with absolutely no worries. Rick took charge and executed everything we had ultimately wanted and extra! We didn't need to travel anywhere to pick anything (except for backsplash). Everything else was literally chosen through Rick and he also deals with an amazing electrician. One stop shop. We picked it all with Rick's helpful suggestions and he delivered a true dream kitchen! Very meticulous and detail oriented and would definitely call for another reno!!

Rick has completely renovated our Main and Ensuite Bathrooms and refreshed our main floor powder room with new quartz countertop, under-mount sink, faucet and new cabinet doors. This is the second time we hired Rick. The first time was in July 2008 to renovated our Kitchen. We are very pleased with the services that Rick has provided to date. We are very happy with the final results. The project was delivered on budget and on time. Rick provides great design ideas and listens to your needs/concerns and he always has a solution, Rick always provides daily updates and he and Josh (apprentice) arrive on time each day and always cleans up before they leave . We absolutely recommend Rick as he is diligent, passionate and always wants to do things right versus using "short-cuts". We can count on Rick to deliver and not worry about un-expected surprises.

My kitchen is the jewel of my house. My husband and I are very satisfied with the quality of workmanship that Rick delivered . We are familiar with his work as he supplied cupboards for our cottage kitchen and entrance in 2003 and 2006 respectively. He has now replaced our kitchen in the city .He was very receptive to our needs and made good suggestions. He was meticulous and conscientious and respected the time schedule he had given us. I would not hesitate to recommend Rick .

This is the second kitchen Rick has done for us. When we sold our previous house we were told we got a record high price mostly because of the kitchen. So, when we wanted the kitchen remodelled in our new home (it is an older house circa 1988) there was no one else we called. My new kitchen is outstanding in design and ergonomics. The workmanship is second-to-none and the project came in on time and on budget. in addition to the kitchen, because it is open concept, Rick remodelled our family room, including the fireplace, new floors and patio doors. Rick is meticulous and everything is finished to perfection.

This is the third time we have hired Rick for renovations to our residence. Meticulous, work, attention to detail and good advice are the hallmarks of York Millwork and I would strongly recommend this company for your renovation needs. We re-faced our kitchen, updated the laundry room and installed some new doors and trim. The job was done on time and on budget with no surprises. The daily clean up, minor repairs and other extras not in the contract that were provided at no cost to us, were noted and appreciated. Rick always goes the extra mile to make sure the job is completed perfectly. We will no doubt use him and his company again.
