Sharon is a great designer. I have worked with her on many upholstery projects, and every time we schedule an appointment, she comes prepared, organized, and with a good idea on where the project is going to go. When Sharon works with her clients, she is open minded and listens to their needs before she suggests style and fabric options. She is an active designer from quoting a project all they way to delivery when it is complete. If she doesn’t fully understand how a fabric will wear or a sofa will sit, she isn’t afraid to ask and gather all the information so she can inform her clients. She is conscientious of her client’s budget and timeline when she selects pieces to the design. Sharon also isn’t afraid to branch out of the norm when it comes to design. She doesn’t shy away from colorful fabrics and styles that you wouldn’t typically see in everyones home. Sharon has the talent to take a design that you wouldn’t have imagined on your own and create it into something you don’t want to live without.

Sharon Hocking has been more than what we expected. We have been working with Sharon on a renovations project involving our nearly century old NorthWest estate house. Her attention to detail and respect for our ideas has been refreshing. She has researched the history of the facility and helped worked with us to develop a plan that will honor and maintain its legacy. The first questions she asked were, “what’s the story of this home?”, and “how do you want to use it?”. She has helped us to create a vision, draw plans, source materials like furnishings, decor, paint and floor finish. It’s been a pleasure and we couldn’t be more grateful.

I wanted to update my kitchen but I was overwhelmed by all of the different details that would go into a remodel. So I decided to hire an interior designer to guide me through the process. Sharon helped me to bring everything together and draw up a plan for a new kitchen. She directed me towards businesses where we could look at flooring, countertops, hardware, appliances and paint selections. Sharon helped me to narrow down my choices and to focus on the things that I liked and wanted. After the kitchen remodel was finished Sharon helped me to decide on fabric for new window and chair coverings, also. I'm very pleased with my kitchen remodel and would recommend Sharon to everyone. She can help you with the details, but can also make sure that everything blends together.

We have worked with Sharon on two remodeling projects in the past year. As a full-service, design-build company, we have our own processes and designers but enjoy working with outside designers to bring their designs to life. Sharon introduced us to two of her amazing clients and was able to easily jump right in. She had all of the material selections dialed in and made it easy for us to put together a proposal. Sharon is personable, knowledgeable and eager to get the best outcome for her clients. When we collaborated at the photo shoot to take photos of the completed project, it was clear that she had built trust and a friendship with those she worked with. We loved working with her and bring an awesome design to life. We're excited to work with Sharon on future projects together!

Sharon is amazing! I feel so lucky to have found her. I was very overwhelmed after moving into a large home with very little furniture. She came up with a plan and using her great resources I had a home full of beautiful furniture by Christmas at a very reasonable price. We were thrilled. My husband and I were so fortunate to have Sharon Hocking as our interior designer. This was our first attempt at any type of renovation so I was a bit nervous. Sharon helped me create my dream bedroom/bathroom combination and I love it more than I thought I could. She listened to all my ideas, encouraged my own thoughts and also helped me consider things I never would have thought of on my own. There were a few times I just wanted to pick something quickly and she gently insisted that I should look at the big picture for a while before deciding, especially where color was concerned. I ended up changing my mind on a few things and am super happy that I did. I highly recommend Sharon to anyone who is considering a remodel or decorating project. You will love coming home!
