Sharon Meade has helped us with many design projects over many years and I can recommend her without reservation. She listens well and then takes your vision to the 'next level' with her knowledge and design sense. I use her because she knows how to push me--just a bit--to get a better look than I could on my own. And she is always respectful of your budget.

Sharon helped choose and make all the draperies for our new home. After determining our likes and dislikes, she brought fabrics that were appealing to both of us. She also helped with choosing wall colors. We recently wanted a new backsplash, so Sharon brought samples here to our home, thus making the choices a lot easier. She arranged for the tile people to come and install the backsplash. It looks awesome. She is always professional and aware of our budget.

I recently moved into a new home and started looking for a designer to help with my room. I found Sharon looking through the Houzz website and I am glad I did! Sharon was very knowledgeable about room design and brought many ideas and options to present when we met. With Sharon's help, my room turned out perfect! Not only is she very knowledgeable in her design work, she is also kind and easy to work with. I would work with Sharon again and I highly recommend her for any design job!

Sharon Mead, the owner of Decorative Design Interiors is a fabulous interior designer to work with. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field, very patient, and possesses the ability to gently lead you in the design direction your mind envisions but your tongue cannot articulate. We built a house 20 years ago, always with the intent of bringing in a designer to help us decorate. However, as life goes, it was long after building the home that I finally met Sharon and began to work with her to bring my mind's vision into reality for our home. Sharon decorated our home with custom-made window treatments and blinds, hand-picked furniture fabric, complementing pillow coverings and paint colors throughout. When everything was completed, I truly felt as if we were living in a model home as Sharon's decorative input and design were that exquisite. She is great at what she does and I would surely rate her a 5-Star+ if I were able to do so. I would hire Sharon for any home decorating project that I needed done. Don't hesitate--she is that good!! I must also take a moment to mention the quality work done by Sharon's husband, Gerry. Gerry installed our window treatments with impeccable precision and quality. They looked perfect. When we recently relocated, Gerry removed all of the window treatments and professionally wrapped and packed them for us so they would weather a cross-country move in the same condition and quality with which they were made. Excellent decorator ! Though we are not in Delaware, Sharon has been willing to help us with our home over the years. She took time to know what style we were looking for and then offered several options. Has helped us with many rooms in our home and we have been thrilled with everything. Sharon does not pressure for a sale, is very personable and professional.

Sharon was mindful of keeping with my esthetic as she offered designs that would work throughout my home. She provided enough options for materials and design in order to make a decision yet not so many that you became overwhelmed. Right from the start, Decorative Design Interiors (DDI) handled my project in a professional and personal way. From the creation of the plan to it's completion, DDI demonstrated excellent knowledge of design concepts and their quality of workmanship was more than anyone could ask for. Though it took a bit to get the project scheduled, once work began it was completed in a very timely fashion with only a minimal amount of tweaking to the original plan. There appeared to be good communication between the designer and craftsmen throughout the project and it was a pleasure having the DDI craftsmen in my home. We are enjoying the finished product more than we ever expected and would approach DDI when considering another remodeling project in the future.

I've used DDI for a number of years for various projects. Anytime I need to have work done I contact DDI. One of the most recent projects was a kitchen remodel - new cabinets and counter tops.
