We have, and continue to work with Serina and Clear Designs over the past 10 years, including the Glen Street and Royal Residence projects featured on her Houzz page. Serina is a very talented designer who responds well to the needs of our clients and contributes tremendously to the design team. Her sense of colour, scale, texture, and material are top notch. Her attention to budget, detail, and scope and her professional approach are a huge asset and make our working relationship a pleasure. We have no reservations about recommending Clear Designs to anyone looking to hire an interior designer for their upcoming building project.

We would highly recommend working with Clear on any home renovation project. Our project involved transforming the main living space of a 1 1/2 story post-war home with many small rooms into a sophisticated and functional open concept layout. On our first meeting with Serina, she asked us a few simple questions, took a look around at our artwork and furniture and immediately presented us with a design theme that matched our taste to a tee. The results are more than we could have hoped for. Serina's help in visualizing the new space helped us have the confidence to make smart long-term decisions and maximize every square inch available. She provided us with paint, tile and furniture options that we agreed to without hesitation (and that's saying something for two A-types who would normally take forever to pick a paint colour). And most importantly she helped with the project management of a major project and made sure every supplier order and contractor plan was done right, and only once. We enjoyed working with Serina every step of the way, and look forward to the next project!

Serina was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was able to understand what we were looking for, and to edit our various design impulses, so that we ended up with a beautiful, comfortable, calm, and relaxed home for our young family. On top of that, Serina was incredibly organized, ensuring that the project went off without a hitch. From a budget perspective, she helped us spend the money where it counted. We hired Serina to design our basement remodel . She completed all the drawings necessary for our contractors and trades people as well as handling the permit process. In addition to ensuring the space flowed and met all of our needs, Serina also designed a beautiful stairway feature that that fits our style and makes the space special. Serina is highly professional, dependable, accessible and has great taste. She was especially helpful in following up with suppliers and ensuring we received good service. We are very pleased with our renos and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her services as she made an often stressful and confusing process so much easier!

Clear has led the transformation of my house, from a builder's-basic space lacking much personality to a modern, warm and beautiful family home. The best part of working with Clear is that not only you get an amazing design team, but you get a project manager that makes the design a reality by working closely with the client and the trades in all aspects of the implementation. Serina, Clear's lead, is flexible and decisive at the same time, knowing exactly how to read hear clients. She has studied design and has a great understanding of form, function and colour. She also has a really great architectural approach, so don't be afraid to use her for big projects. At the same time Clear is great for small design projects as well - so, do call if you only want to do one room, as they have a very flexible billing/project structure.

We were so fortunate to have Serina on board for our home renovation project. We purchased a 1920s home that was being completely gutted and needed help with floor layout, as well as kitchen design and finishes. Her expertise, confidence, and great taste is phenomenal. She took my all-over-the-place style and narrowed it down to choice a) or b), which is exactly what I needed to meet our quick deadlines.
