Taralon Homes

My name is Lonni Kehoe and my husband, Greg, and I walked into closing in January 2022 and thought we were selling 3021 W. Lawn Ave. Tampa, 33611, to Dennis Johnson after telling our realtor that we were not interested in selling to a builder. Unbeknownst to us, Dennis Johnson had assigned the contract to Taralon Homes. Our broker never told us. Soon after, a 200 year old grand oak was butchered in the back yard without a permit as required, Taralon sold the property in May, 2022.

Taralon Homes granted permission for a power pole to be placed in the backyard of one of their homes that we purchased but never mentioned it to us. The power pole wasn't there during the inspection and immediately after closing when we inquired about the power pole, Taralon Homes said they felt it wasn't a big deal. It is a very, very big deal to us and we will have significant expenses in removing the pole. We later found out that it had been quite a big deal to all of the neighbors involved.

Taralon Homes designed and built a beautiful home for our family. The building process went very smooth and I attribute this to Mike and Scott's professionalism and commitment to building a superior product. The time frame for the construction of our home was met and we were very impressed with the quality of a Taralon home. Taralon is very good about pricing out the construction of a home in a competitive environment and working with the customer to meet expectations. Another great reason to build with Taralon homes is Mike and Scott are so organized throughout the entire process and keep the project on track with constant communication. We highly recommend Taralon Homes and would use them again.

Taralon was our custom home builder for our new 3500 square foot, two-story home with a two car garage and pool/spa in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Taralon Homes was the absolute BEST choice for us to build our new home. We started this project with low expectations on how long and how difficult the process would go. However, the process was surprisingly easy and actually fun! Everyone at Taralon was excellent with communication and had timely responses. Our house was built on schedule with minor delays (normal). Kirchner and Bartoletta, and their subcontractors, were a pleasure to work with. We always recommend Taralon Homes to all that ask about our home building process. Happy overall. Great structure and has worn well. Had to change landscaping and some other issues on our own, so not great follow up after the move in date.

We started the process of building our new home with Taralon Homes in February of 2012. Our house was completed as expected on time and we were able to move in, in October. During this process we found the staff and builder to be professional, responsive and accommodating. They were very helpful in guiding us through the building process and in hindsight, their expertise and advice proved to be exceptional.
