As a professional heating engineer, I have installed Wiser in my own home, to test the product and its features. The Wiser heat hub and thermostat are very simple to install and set up and the app has many useful features. Schneider electric have continued updating the app and fine tuning it to make it better and better. I was very impressed with Wiser so I decided to add the individual thermostatic heads to my radiators. These allow you to control the temperature in each individual room. With twenty five radiators on my heating system this was a fairly expensive task. However, it allowed me to zone and control the system much more cheaply than traditional methods. It was a quick and easy task and once I'd got the schedules of the thermostats set correctly for our own living, the true benefits of Wiser became apparent. When my children leave for school their bedrooms thermostats reduce the temperature of the rooms. When I get home the office radiator kicks into action ready for me to do my paperwork. Meanwhile my wife asks Alexa to adjust the temperature in rooms as her schedule changes. Wiser allows you to pair thermostats if you have two radiators in the same room. So you only have one schedule for the two radiators. This cuts down on having to repeat the same actions for the two and also allows up to 32 devices rather than 16.
