Cristie is great to work with on your project. She designs great spaces based on your ideas along with offering suggestions for ways to improve upon that. She has a great eye for how colors work together and also excels at staging spaces, in particular. She is mindful of the budget you initially discuss and works to stay within that, without sacrificing style or quality. She also works efficiently in order to keep your project running smoothly.

We've worked with Cristie for several years on multiple projects and we couldn't be happier. She has the rare combination of tremendous talent and vision, connections to procure things that we could never dream of getting on our own, a great team of skilled craftsmen, and the attention to business details to provide the right transparency on cost. Cristie is a great listener to understand your style and what you're looking for, but also offers great advise and informed opinions. That's what you want from a top of the line designer. The only problem is that we love so much what the end product looks like that we want to do another part of the house, than another...

Cristie Schlosser worked tirelessly on our behalf to get our dream kitchen created and then implemented. Cristie and the SDG helped guide us through our kitchen update. She made recommendations on counters, wall color, helped me select appliances and plumbing fixtures as well as hardware for our cabinets. She is a pleasant and vivacious person, and a real pleasure to work with. Cristie's general contractor was wonderful to work with as well. His trades were great, respectful and responsible. If there was a problem, everyone dealt with it immediately. The new custom window treatments designed by Cristie finished up the project beautifully. We love our kitchen and we will use Cristie in the future!

Cristie and Cheryl did a great job of updating our kitchen and home office. The lighter and brighter areas make me happy every time I see them. Cristie recommended a couple things I hadn't thought about changing and they made a huge difference. I appreciated the excellent communication from Cheryl and I thoroughly trusted their vendors in our home. I appreciate the guidance and I am very happy with the results.

We have design and build a new Kitchen and a new flooring through out the house. This project was done while we were abroad. The result was excellent.

I hired Schlosser Design group in August 2016 to help me furnish, and choose lighting, window shades and treatments, and rugs for our new build home in the M streets. We wanted things done as quickly as possible but also with our budget in mind because we have 2 small children and had just relocated to Dallas. Cristie was a fantastic interpreter between our desires and the current products and trends. We had never worked with a designer before but wanted our new home to be a place where we felt proud to entertain my husband's clients and coworkers, as well as our visiting family, friends, and neighbors. We also wanted it to be very comfortable and livable for us on a day-to-day basis. The process and the final product are beyond expectation. Not only are we so happy every time we walk in the door, we feel like the products we bought are the highest quality for the money we spent and will last a long time. She made sure our fabric sofas were custom made with commercially stain-treated fabrics. Cristie also had a local rug protection company treat all of our rugs to protect against stains (in addition to the kids we have 2 pets!). Her contractors are all fantastic to work with, and were respectful of our home, wearing shoe covers and leaving it nearly as clean as they found it- and we had LOTS of them coming through the house (painters, cabinet makers, wallpaper installers, electricians, and drapery/custom pillow makers). For the design we kept sharp corners, metals, and things that little ones can hurt themselves on to an absolute minimum and did the accessorizing up high and out of reach. As a result, our home is practical, safe, and also beautiful. Both Cristie and her assistant Cheryl are organized, professional, and easy to work with. After the completion of the project they even hosted a wine and cheese house warming party for us (March 2017) which was incredibly thoughtful. I highly recommend SDG and know that they are competent in projects large and small. The only drawbacks we had during the process were that we went over budget, but this was somewhat expected as we had a big house and had to do everything from scratch. Once or twice we also ran into hiccups that ended up costing us more money (example: countertops we thought were in stock but weren't so we had to buy a thicker countertop, a window shade for a guest room that was left out of the count). Overall though if something arose, Cristie made sure we came to a solution together quickly where no one was left unhappy for very long.

Cristie will go out of her way to make sure you are satisfied! We have used her multiple times over the past ten years, and successfully updated our entire house.

Cristie is easy to work with on design, issues and questions. We updated both boys rooms and then had to do some required repairs. Cristie makes sure to find the best subcontractors that she can and keeps in constant contact with them to be sure the job is done correctly. She stays within budget and still comes up with ideas to make the space look great and work. I would definitely hire Schlosser Design Group.

Cristie Schlosser and her team just completed a remodel of my kitchen, family room, and powder room. It looks amazing, and my kitchen is much more functional than it was before. Cristie accommodated my entire "wish list" and worked with me on my budget. She included small touches, such as a pop-up outlet in the middle of my island, that made a huge difference in the way we use the kitchen. I am definitely sold on the value of hiring a professional designer!
