I had the pleasure of working with Shannon on replacing my living room and library furniture and making sense of the space! Shannon is a true professional, understood my family's lifestyle (3 boys!) and budget and provided me with choices that met both my needs and style. She even went the extra distance to complete the look in my library by helping me pare done all the clutter too! The result is the nicest room in our home! Shannon is a class act and I would highly recommend her for any project. In fact, I am hoping to work with her again in the near future.

Shannon did an incredible job with our entire main floor, starting with the living room and continuing on with the dining room, foyer, powder room, and stairs! Honestly, we had never worked with a designer and didn't know what to expect. The process was simple, fun, and the "reveal" was truly magical. We started with the living room and asked her to work around a Persian rug and glass table. The end result was spectacular, with stylish custom fabrics, interesting side tables, grasscloth wallpaper, unique art, and beautiful lamps. It's stunning and warm, inviting and cozy. She has a beautiful eye and her attention to detail is remarkable. Over time, Shannon has designed the rest of our main living area, and we couldn't be happier. She incorporated our children's artwork in the foyer to create a happy, inviting entry space. We spend hours in the dining room over dinner, drinks, and conversation (my husband is Danish!). Everyone loves the comfortable chairs and intimate lighting. The runner on the stairs is distinctive and practical, a beautiful geometric pattern which brings interest to previously boring stairs. We put a new granite counter on the half-bath sink, new lighting, fixtures, and textured wallpaper on the ceiling - what a transformation! She is budget-conscious, flexible, and always on schedule. We love what Shannon created, her designs showcase the architectural details in our home, and we are so thankful!

Shannon recently decorated our family room and we are so pleased with the outcome. She transformed the space into exactly what we'd hoped it could be. She took a lot of time to get to know our tastes, color and style preferences, and how we use the space. Shannon has a great eye for room layout and color. She also has a great eye for detail and for finding beautiful fabrics and furniture that not only look fabulous, but are comfortable, functional, and will hold up to the demands of our busy household, which includes kids and a dog. We have really enjoyed working with Shannon. She's professional, organized, efficient, and is as nice as can be. We highly recommend her and would not hesitate to use her again for other rooms we hope to redecorate in the future.

I have worked with Shannon for many years on 3 major projects in my home: living room, master bedroom and media/tween room. She has truly transformed my home into a place we all love. We had so much fun working on the most recent project. Shannon listened to our needs and turned our drab lower level into a fabulous space that functions as both a place for my teenagers to hang out with their friends, as well as a space for adult entertaining. Shannon did a wonderful job updating our home. She chose wonderful fabrics and colors which added a modern touch to our merged home. I love the way she helped pick out quality pieces of furniture/art to keep and which seemed outdated. It was a pleasure working with her and will seek her advice/services again.

Shannon designed our living room, family room and entry hall. She did whole room designs for those spaces. In addition, she helped tie in the surrounding rooms by helping us pick kitchen tiles, window treatments, carpets and paint colors. The whole design was stunning and totally our taste. She was incredibly easy to work with and accommodated our style, budget and timing. Shannon also did our master bedroom. She created a tranquil and spa like space for us. Highly recommend Shannon.

We have worked with Shannon on two projects in our home. We love that she will design an entire space for you and allow you to implement the changes on your own pace. Shannon is a pleasure to work with, she has wonderful taste, and her rates a very reasonable. She is able to make the process so easy for those of us who get overwhelmed by making design decisions. We very much appreciated her patience as we made changes and she was more than happy to suggest alternatives if there were things we did not love. I would not hesitate to recommend Shannon and cannot wait until we have to hire her again.

I worked with Shannon for two projects. In both cases she had great taste, found perfect things, and was very reasonable. She is not at all pretentious like some designers can be and had no problem working within realistic budgets. And as a mom, she understands what is practical for kids. Shannon came highly recognized from a work colleague. She helped us after we did an addition and renovation to our house. She picked out paint colors, some furniture, some carpeting, and window treatments. I was conservative in my paint color choices and Shannon encouraged us to get a bit out of my comfort zone. Not only were the colors PERFECT but she convinced me to use grass wallpaper for our dining room; it totally changed the room in a great way. She tied the whole house together with a cohesive look, was not expensive, and even gave me ideas on how I could do some own work decorating one of my son's bedrooms. A few years ago, Shannon gave us a plan for two bedrooms. While we didn't pick one, we loved what she came up with for our son's room. He is a big superhero fan and Shannon said she normally doesn't like to do "themed" rooms but it came out great. Really cool wallpaper and decals to decorate the walls. A nice paint color, and furniture and accessories that were perfect and did not blow the budget.

I always get compliments on these rooms! Shannon listens to your needs and comes up with beautiful design options to meet your personal style and budget. She handles everything to implement the design from ordering custom furniture, drapes, carpeting, painting, wall paper, lighting, accessories, etc., including the installation and deliveries. I hired Shannon Bieter to help me with my home in D.C. She helped me choose furniture and the paint colors I needed and assisted with furniture placement. She was respectful of my preferences but led me in a direction that achieved what I was looking for but that I had not previously imagined. Shannon was fun and easy to work with. Shannon is an incredibly talented designer! She can make any space look absolutely beautiful. Her ability to really listen to and learn about a client's style is key. She is amazing and truly has an eye for spectacular design. I loved working with her on a personal level and a professional level and I love my new space!!!

When we purchased our house in Bethesda in 2002, we worked with Shannon to decorate our living room, and later our family room. She worked within our budget and gave us the beautiful rooms we still enjoy today (furniture, artwork, window treatments, rugs, lamps, etc). Everything looks so put-together and welcoming. Fast forward to 2014, and we still wouldn't have changed a thing! We still love all of the choices she made, and all of the materials have held up so nicely. I have referred several of my friends (DC/Potomac/Arlington) to Shannon, and they have been so pleased with how she has helped to make their homes so beautiful! She even recommended an idea that hadn't occurred to us -- a white picket fence in our front yard. My husband and I still remark about how we're grateful she made that suggestion because it's one of the home improvements we most enjoy.
