This home was completed in late 2019 (not 2020) and the reviewer has conveniently omitted the fact that construction was put on hold numerous times because he was in Default due to non-payment of the contract on multiple occasions. Construction indeed took much longer than expected, due to a combination of late payments from the Homebuyer & his bank, poor weather conditions (outside of our control), ongoing delays caused by sub-contractors hired directly by the Homebuyer, and the addition of a pool. It was not an ideal project for many reasons. During the span of this project, our company started & finished construction on 3 other custom homes with happy homeowners. This reviewer's opinion is his own, and this project is not representative of a normal construction project by this company.

This is a complete and utter fabrication. The homeowner's 60+ year old home was torn down to the studs, and re-built as a much larger, new home. Unfortunately, it was determined that the homeowner flushed an unusually high amount of toilet paper/debris down the toilets, resulting in a sewage backup. My company was not liable for this. I have never made any claim of being bankrupt, and my company is fully insured. My company has never even considered filing a bankruptcy, nor have I personally. The homeowner's fire was investigated by multiple agencies (including her own insurance company), and it was determined that she hired an unlicensed plumber to install gas logs, which was done improperly and resulted in the unfortunate fire. My company has no responsibility for this whatsoever, though I certainly cooperated with the insurance company until everything was cleared.. The homeowner's negligence resulted in a sewage leak, house fire and all related damages. For some reason, she decided to wait 3 years to post this "review" and I cannot answer for that, but I can answer for the laundry list of falsities and completely untrue allegations she is slinging my way.

Since my experience working with this customer, I have built more new homes and large remodels/home additions without problems, and will continue to do so. It is unfortunate that this client is choosing to make false allegations about my character, competency, and state of my company. My company is in fine standing financially and legally, and always has been even during years that were not as good. No client or sub-contractor has sued me, nor have I gotten to the point where a potential lawsuit was even discussed. This client's claims are fabricated with malicious intent.
