My husband and I were very fortunate to have Sanchez Homes conduct a total renovation of our downtown century home. The Sanchez brothers are exceedingly professional, knowledgeable, and all-around wonderful people. Sanchez homes built our home, it was a difficult process as it involved a full renovation of a 100 yr home plus building a large new addition but it was a pleaure working with them. Very professional service, totally recommended.

We had a wall removed between our kitchen and living room. We required a framer, drywaller, hardwood floorer and electrician. All of the work was well done. Antonio was great at staying in contact with us and kept a watchful eye to make sure everything was done well. My only two complaints were that the framer went away mid project and so the project took much longer than expected to finish and the electrician put two lightswitchs in odd places in our living room.

My husband and I interviewed several companies to build our custom home. We had built new and renovated old in the past so we knew exactly what we were looking for in a builder. Sanchez homes did not disappoint. They had a deadline to meet, as well as meeting our very high expectations on quality and budget management. Alberto and Antonio were true professionals, honest, trustworthy. I asked for information two years later and a CD complete with excel stats and photos were presented within 24 hrs. Sanchez Holmes was referred to us by one of their clients. Either Alberto or Antonio were at our property every day to guide us and to oversee and manage the project during every stage of construction. Upon completion of our project (a triplex in downtown Ottawa), Alberto stops by or calls whenever we require assistance with little items that need to be attended to. We hired Sanchez Homes to build our modern home by the water. The two brothers, Antonio and Alberto, were amazing. A+ They promised a start to finish date of 8 months. And they delivered. We dealt mostly with Antonio and occasionally with Alberto. Both brothers were formidable. I recommend them 100%. There are a lot of horror stories out there about poor and dishonest builders, and crushed dreams. When you read them, they scare you off. Sanchez Homes is the kind of dream builder everyone looks for. Both brothers have amazing trades. They are honest and share your dream to build the best home they can deliver. If a trade gets greedy and inflates a quote, they are not afraid to get other quotes or to warn the trade to "sharpen their pencil". They care about delivering excellence and have no time for "bandits" as they call them. As the main project manager, Antonio was on site every single day. All day. He made sure the project was meticulously supervised. He has superb judgment, building smarts and makes sure everyone delivers 100%. I cannot recommend Sanchez Home more. They were amazing. We are thoroughly satisfied with the service provided by the Sanchez brothers (Antonio and Alberto). After intensive searching for professionals to provide the ultimate in service standards to build our family home we decided on Sanchez Homes and have absolutely no regrets. Both Antonio and Alberto are amicable individuals who exude a high level of professionalism, organizational skills and calmness. From drawings to completion SH was there every step of the way. We had our previous plans redrawn and several amendments made under recommendation of both SH and the architect. A budget was established and several quotes were provided for each trade. SH was able to adeptly negotiate with trades in the event of additional/"extra" work. Coordination between the trades were expertly handled to avoid them "tripping-over" themselves. The work site was kept very neat and clean (some trades actually commented on this). SH communicated on a regular basis with us and when deviations from plan came up were able to provide several workable solutions. In some instances SH recommended spending a little more for upgrades to enhance the look and functionality of our house and again we do not regret having stretched the budget a little. The project began in mid July and we were able to move in a couple days before scheduled at the end of March. Considering that we had one of the worst winters and Christmas in between we were extremely happy with the timeliness of delivery. SH has a meticulous eye for perfection and were able to envision our dream home. We would highly recommend SH to anyone seeking a project management team of the highest professional standards.

We completed the construction of a high-end, architect-designed modern house with Sanchez Homes (SH) operating as the construction project managers. Under our agreement the brother-team of Antonio and Alberto Sanchez established a budget estimate, identified a minimum of three contractors for each element of the build, scheduled and supervised implementation including quality control, liased with the architects and facilitated municipal construction reviews and approvals. We were responsible for signing individual contracts and issuing payments to the contractors. We selected project management over a general contractor approach after finding the latter estimates received to be generally incomplete, widely varying in scope and detail, and expensive. SH provided a comprehensive estimate within budget and responded openly to issues as raised by us prior to signing the contract. SH proved an exceptionally professional service that included a weekly, written Monday morning assessment of progress and an outline of work scheduled for the week, close ongoing supervision of work, quick responses to unforeseen issues that arose and rigorous quality control of the work. Most contracts for the various components came in under or at budget. The firm frequently went beyond its contracted obligations, stepping in to provide assistance that saved both time and money. Both brothers’ interpersonal skills are well beyond the industry norm, an attribute that made working with them a pleasure; but also ensured that sometimes-difficult situations with trades were handled well and without disruption to the project. Some other notable strengths included a commitment to the client that resulted in SH requiring some work be redone when it did not meet their high standards; liazing with city staff to obtain approvals quickly, and excellent negotiating skills to obtain both competitive quotes and to stop “cost creep” on existing contracts. In summary, Sanchez Homes is a highly professional project management firm, with strong industry and construction knowledge and a strong commitment to the client’s needs.

During the build of my house, I had run into trouble and was running behind schedule and over budget. After interviewing several other builders, I decided to hire Sanchez Homes to help manage the finish of my construction of the main floor and complete the entire basement, along with the landscaping. The company was extremely professional in their conduct and answered all my questions promptly and thoroughly. They were seasoned professionals who relied on experience and that came through in all our interactions. Though initially my plan was only to hire a builder to finish the main floor, the process with Sanchez Homes was so easy and headache free, that I asked them to finish the basement and landscaping as well. Alberto and Antonio were a pleasure to deal with and I recommend them very highly!

Antonio sourced and negotiated with the trades, maintained the very tight build schedule, and delivered a product that far exceeded our wildest dreams. 5 STARS DOESN'T SAY ENOUGH!! What more can I say... Dealing with Sanchez Homes from start to finish was an absolute pleasure. Don't get me wrong, building a custom home certainly has it challenges but Antonio and his team were there each and every day for each step of the process. His attention to detail and the relationships formed with some of the sub trades were always positive. Antonio is known for treating each an every build as though it was his own and that certainly shows in the finished product. I would highly recommend Antonio and Sanchez homes to anyone considering a new build or a renovation.

I hired the services of Sanchez Homes for a fairly significant reno project for my 8 year old town house in Ottawa. The company was hired to install hardwood flooring for the entire second floor, installation of hardwood stairs, removal, re-staining and reinstallation of handrailing, installation of new spindles, new baseboards and new trim. The project also included the removal of previous carpeting, baseboards and trim. The initial stage of the project; removal of existing flooring was a dirty dusty job that the company handled with professionalism and good humour. Sanchez Homes involved me throughout the entire project, helping me to choose from the selection of the hardwood, spindles and stains. There are hundreds of details involved in a project of this nature, many of which I had not anticipated. Sanchez Homes seemed to know all the details and options before the project even began, which saved me time and money Before installation of the new flooring, the company was able to solve a constant irritant that had been with my house since the day it was built; the floors creaked incessantly. Sanchez Homes solved this by screwing hundreds of screws into the floor boards and re-anchoring the wall framing, a simple but labour intensive solution that other companies may have overlooked. Their trades people were experienced knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. The attention to detail was surprising, the overall results is what one would expect in an expensive custom built home. The results surpassed my expectations.......and I expect a lot from the people I do business with.
