Sam and his team are truly top notch. This is the second project I have done with Graham Design and Construction - the first was a kitchen remodel, and the latest project was a new bathroom on the second floor of our house. Both totally surpassed my expectations! Sam has a really keen eye for design, and minds every last detail. I completely trust his vision for bringing all the elements of a project together beautifully. He is the consummate professional, and so easy to work and communicate with. His team and all project subcontractors were very courteous and respectful of our space, and the quality of work was excellent, as well as on-time and on-budget. Our bathroom project required a substantial degree of "outside the box" design and function, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the results, including the custom carpentry. I highly recommend Graham Design and Construction!

Sam built a beautiful green roof shed and carport for me. It was great to work with a builder who encouraged collaboration. He shows great care and pride in his work. I would recommend Graham Construction for any project.

Sam and his coworkers did a great job on my bathroom remodeling. It turned out even better than I had hoped, and Sam was wonderful throughout, accommodating all my suggestions and giving me much-needed advice as we went along. Great attention to detail. Final cost was almost dead-on to the estimate. I would not hesitate to recommend him or to use him again.

My husband and I hired Graham Design to remodel our master bathroom earlier this year. Sam and his crew were so nice to work with from the start. Sam was on the job site each day supervising his crew and the subcontractors, which made us feel great knowing the remodel would be done correctly. The bathroom is absolutely gorgeous, and I've already recommended Sam to a few close friends for their upcoming projects.

Our company has worked under Sam's leadership for a few years now. During this same time our business has grown and we've experienced the business model and personality of several other remodelers in Louisville. Hands down, Sam is one of the best. This is mainly because of three reasons. First, Sam is simply a nice guy on and off the work site. He's not Mr. Professional with clients then a jerk to whoever gets in his way. He's always been respectful no matter the circumstances. Second, he's extremely knowledgeable and thorough. As a sub this make for a smooth project nearly every time. Everyone has their time to complete their work at the right time without a circus of subs on top of each other. And finally third and maybe most important, Sam limits his projects so he can actually manage them well. In this business when a contractor sells and over commits, then reasons one and two go right out the proverbial window. This dynamic always becomes difficult with everyone involved including the client but especially the subs. In short, the biggest factor in completing your remodel is who will you place in the driver seat. How about a kind, knowledgeable, and continually present contractor? They will all claim this, but who will actually deliver.

We were very pleased with Sam Graham and his crew! Not only did Sam stay within our budget, he brought skilled craftsmen to the project to build a master bath addition on our 1905 home in Crescent Hill, with thoughtful precision and pleasant demeanors. He worked well with our architect, Christopher Quirk. Very happy and loving our new space.

Graham Design and Construction served as the general contractor for a dining room and kitchen addition, designed by architect Mary Herd Jackson, at our home in the Cherokee Triangle neighborhood of Louisville. The Graham firm was selected through a competitive bidding process which included three other local contractors. Our experience with Graham Design and Construction was superior in every way. The quality of workmanship was outstanding, and the conscientious attention of of the builder to every detail of the project was noteworthy. Working with Sam and his team was always easy and pleasant, and they never failed to respond satisfactorily to the issues inevitably associated with a project of this scope. Every visitor to our house since the project's completion has commented on the wonderful transformation of our house, and the project has added considerably to our quality of life (as was our original intent). We haven't a single regret in our choice of Graham Design and Construction, and would (and have) recommended them to others without qualification.

Sam Graham has been a friend of our family for years - he and our son went to high school together. So when my wife and I bought a fixer-upper home we consulted with Sam about extensive renovations, including vaulting many ceilings on the mid-50's ranch, converting the garage to a kitchen, adding a 20-foot-square space to make the kitchen into a great room, and adding a garage that remained in style and scale with the home. Throughout the process, Sam remained accessible and very knowledgeable not only about how to get the work done but which contractor to call in for each specific job, including HVAC, foam insulation, wiring, plumbing, drywall - everything! He designed and helped to build the great room, which has a vaulted ceiling requiring massive beams and very tricky construction. The whole process went very smoothly and the redo is now working extremely well for us, easily accommodating our family gatherings of as many as 45 people. Sam understood my wife's and my desire to live in the home during renovation. This included many days when the house was not completely available to us, but we made it. And Sam understood our intention to complete a lot of the finish work ourselves, including some flooring, drywall priming and painting, fiber cement board siding on most of the new walls, and installation of kitchen cabinets that I purchased at the Habitat ReStore.

Graham Design has completed two major projects for our family, including finishing our attic and building a railing/steps for our front porch. We have been very pleased with the results on both projects and have had no issues since completion. We will definitely use these guys for future renovation projects.

Sam Graham, of Graham Design and Remodeling, has both professional and personal qualities which recommend him as a solid, steady remodeler of the highest capacity. First, Sam listens as the project is projected by the architect and/or the homeowner. He makes sure he understands the scope of the project at the beginning. He then is willing to advise, if the homeowner has questions. He understands the inner working, the structure of a project, so his advice is sound and is helpful. Sam and his co-workers are polite and they are respectful. They are all knowledgable in their field. Each one brings meticulous skill and a high work ethic to the project at hand. Sam responds quickly to both emails and to phone calls. There are two men who are an integral part of this group. Trent is absolutely meticulous in his work. When he is presented with an unforeseen situation, he just finds the best way through it. He and Ryan, and Sam have now completed three projects at our home. They have now begun on a fourth.. One of our sons, who is grown, came through the house last week. He stopped at the bathroom that Trent rebuilt, and for which Ryan built the cabinet. He remarked, "That is the nicest bathroom I have ever seen." We all agreed. The workmanship was above and beyond. It was extremely well done. None of the projects these men have worked on has been a walk in the park. The first project was a 50+front porch that needed to go when we bought the house twenty-seven years ago. We waited twenty-five years to work on it. That porch is listed on the Graham Design Houzz site. We recommend Graham Design and Construction very highly.

This spring I hired Graham Design and Construction to renovate an enclosed porch with outdated windows. Sam was respectful of my ideas and how I wanted the new screened porch to look. The work was done in a professional and friendly manner. Trent was always very precise and neat in his work. The porch turned out exactly how I envisioned. It looks great and now we use it all the time.
