Salisbury Landscaping

We had our yard landscaped with Salisbury in 2020. The design was well executed and the majority of plants and trees have done exceptionally well. In particular, I have been happy with Kevin Napora who did a beautiful job of choosing plants and selecting a variety that keeps the yard in bloom all summer. However, the follow-up communication from Salisbury has been really disappointing, and has really tarnished my opinion of this business. First, the 2021 warranty work (a few plants needed to be replaced) was not done collaboratively or in a timely way at all. Our backyard is locked so advance notice was needed to access the garden, which the greenhouse was notified about, but failed to provide. They also brought the wrong plants with them (after a long wait) when they did the warranty work and then it took a long time to bring the correct ones. All of this was overcome, and on the whole seemed understandable especially given Covid. This year (2022), I tried to reach out to Salisbury Landscaping with a question about a tree that has not been doing well (the largest and costliest specimen we obtained). I used their website and email to contact them, and sent pictures. I also left a phone message a few days before emailing. I understood that the warranty period had passed and, indeed, that plants sometimes die, but hoped nonetheless to obtain some advice in an attempt to save the tree. I was not (and am not) seeking any compensation. But I'm so disappointed that no one got back to me to at least acknowledge the message. Instead, a different greenhouse contacted me to offer support when I left them a message, and they were enormously helpful. I definitely will not use Salisbury again or recommend them on this basis because follow up really matters to me. No matter how talented the designers, the office coordination and continuity between the team is really lacking. The tree has continued to decline, and it will need to be removed next year. I'll be using the nursery returned my message at this future point in time. Friends of ours are landscaping next year and we've suggested they go elsewhere.

Residential Maintenance Services has been servicing customers in the Edmonton area since 2001. We provide Property Management services to luxury homeowners. When a landscaping project is required, we always turn to Adam and Andreas at Salisbury for project design and construction services. They continually amaze me with their abilities to design in challenging locations. They have always brought projects in on time and budget. I especially like that you don't have to call them about warranty issues - the year following the project they come back and confirm that all the vegetation is growing and if not, it is replaced. RMS customer's have been extremely satisfied with their work.

The landscape designer, Kevin Napura listened carefully and provided a fabulous plan and followed up with great artisans to complete the work. Also great plant suggestions that really pop in the spring!

We hired Salisbury to complete the final grade and landscaping on a new house build. The designer was attentive to our needs, and the crew that completed the work was completely professional in all aspects. We would recommend them to anyone.

I really can't say enough good things about this company. Ralf and Trevor really went to bat for us on the front & back yard project last September for our newly built home in Fort Saskatchewan. Not only did they come in on time, but dead on budget (and considering we had a drainage issue, that was heartily appreciated). They were both acutely aware of our style (Ralf's ideas were inspired!) and budget requirements. Their crew (headed by foreman Amanda) were knowledgable, efficient, and 'considerate' (something that is truly remarkable these days). They tackled the electrical, hardscaping and planting all with the same level of professionalism. We couldn't believe how well it turned out and can't wait until the good weather arrives again so that we can enjoy our new home to it's fullest. Great job guys! Sean & Marie Currie

A few years ago had my front and back lawn landscaped. Great Service from Andreas, a landscape designer, who followed up as promised and gave great advice, plus I never felt that he was trying to upsell me. One drawback was Steve the Warranty person: had less than stellar servce, Warranty's quality of service was lacking. In the end it all got done though.

Salisbury Landscaping has a dynamic team of landscape designers that come from all walks of life. They create designs specifically tailored to every home owner but also are involved in writing books, articles, teaching courses, giving seminars and working with community groups. In addition their designs have won awards or have been featured on the cover of magazines. For many years, I had admired this company and am now proudly part of the company. The energy and professionalism of the Salisbury is infectious and inspirational.

Ours was a complex project. Many details and a large scale. From start to finish we were impressed with the creativity, ongoing communications, updates and dedication of all the staff members involved. We are completely thrilled with the finished project, and would recommend Salisbury Landscaping to our friends and family in the future.
