The closet design was very well configured. The make up vanity and laundry cabinets also turned out very nice for the limited spaces configured for.

We had our entire new house designed by Janelle from Rylex. Every closet, entry way bench / Mudroom, pantry, laundry room, etc. We worked together to make sure there wasn’t a single detail missed. All of the guys that came for installation were friendly, knowledgeable, respectful and cleaned up when they were done. Rylex just came back to do our garage. They are a wonderful company and design beautiful solutions and I would recommend them to anyone for projects big or small.

I was referred to Rylex by a friend. I initially requested only 2 closets to be done. They exceeded my expectations, and I couldn’t be happier with the end results! In fact I then asked them to come back and do 2 more closets. Janelle was my designer, I find her to be very creative and a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend this company.

Our experience with Rylex began with a note I left on the windshield of a Rylex truck where Jeremiah was taking measurements for a job across the street from our new home. He came over to our house and we told him we were interested in getting shelving in two closets and a pantry. Rather than taking our number and telling us to call for an appointment, he took the measurements in the closets and pantry, and told us that he would forward them to someone at the shop so they could call us with ideas and then a quote. We worked with Sarah who was very helpful and we didn't even have to go down to the shop. The plans she sent us were tweaked ever so slightly and we made a date for installation. Two very nice fellows arrived on time on the appointed day, did the installation, and completely cleaned up before leaving. A kick plate still needed to be installed at a later date along with some small shelves; that work was done quickly and efficiently. Janelle was a great gal to work with. She came over in February to our new Village of Montgomery home and measured three closets in desperate need of shelving and rods. We had a great conversation. She did not over promise and was upfront about costs and what the project would entail. Rylex's installer came by 3/29/2022 and got the job done wonderfully. My husband and I are very pleased with the job. The installer told me that Rylex has been going gangbusters with work - and I can see why. If you want a professional, neat and well organized space, sure, you can go to a big box store and DIY. Yet, Rylex was well worth the cost for our closets. My husband and I would 100% recommend.

I moved into a new home and I wanted to consolidate all my books into one room with built-in floor to ceiling bookcases. The whole process of working with Rylex was smooth and professional. Janelle offered several design concepts and quickly modified the plans when I changed how I wanted some of the shelving done. The installation was flawless and my new library looks great. Janelle designed great spaces for us, not only did everything fit but we went from overcrowded mess to tons of extra space. The install guys were great, came on time, worked professionally and cleaned up. They returned as promised with a piece they identified as less than perfect and were great about making requested adjustments. They even did a good job cleaning up. As someone who grew up in construction and owned a construction company for many years I am blown away by how well they did and am looking for projects to have them work on in the future.

I was moving into a home with closet challenges and Rylex was recommended to me. I needed to have three existing closets customized and a linen closet created in the primary bathroom. I had some specific needs for each space. Dan listened intently and he made some excellent recommendations. When I got the plans it was evident that he had addressed every detail. We made a couple adjustments and the final outcome has exceeded my expectations. Design, materials and installation are of the highest order and the customer service is unsurpassed. I don't want to move again but if I do I won't consider any other company. Rylex is my choice for any/all cabinet/closet needs.

I could not be happier with the custom projects designed and installed by Rylex. The first project they did for us was our master bedroom closets. I was thrilled with the design solutions that Janelle created and it helped maximize plenty of space for our clothes and shoes. The project that was just completed was our kitchen pantry. While it is not a large pantry, the finished product that Janelle designed sure makes it appear that way. In addition, we had Rylex design and build frames for our large bathroom mirrors and create custom medicine cabinets that match beautifully with the current cabinetry. Working with Janelle has been a pleasure as she kept me informed every step of the way and the installation done by Caleb was top notch. I highly recommend Rylex and look forward to doing future projects with them.

She happily addressed any concerns we had and has created fantastic closets for us.Cost was a concern for us, so we decided on melomine for our pantry closet only and wire with the free slide option. We Absolutely LOVE our new Master Bedroom closet!!! Thanks to Chris, John, and Dan, it's just perfect. Chris was our designer, and for what most folks would consider a small room, he was able to find a place for everything. We even have a pull out iron! What a dream! He managed to give us beautiful form and function in every way. It's the little things that count, and our closet is filled with them! We have a pull out for belts and ties, as well as valet's to hang out newly pressed clothes. We have shelving and drawers, and a place for everything! What was once a hodgepodge of clutter turned into a beautifully designed space. Wow. John and Dan were pristine in their installation as well. What needed to be tweaked was tweaked to my satisfaction. I'm a pretty picky perfectionist, but that didn't intimidate these fellas. They're just as picky and their goal was seeing to it that we were completely satisfied with the project. We are very grateful for a job well done. I would highly recommend Rylex Custom Cabinetry for every building and renovation project. They're the best. Period.

Janelle listened to my needs, added ideas that I would've never thought of and designed a wonderful walk-in bedroom closet (the wire type) that has made that room one thousand times more functional than what it was before. We were beyond thrilled with the work Rylex (Janelle, Travis and MIke) did on all our closets. We initially had Rylex do 6 closets (3 hallway and 3 bedrooms). We recently hired Rylex Custom Cabinetry to provide us with four bedroom closets all with inique individual designs (including a walk-in); our daughters basement playroom for her American girl doll displays; garage storage with organization; and a separate display room for highly collectible items including glass displays with lighting. Needless to say it was a massive design project with a ton of custom work with unique finishes and touches that only Rylex could deliver. From the very beginning we met with designer Janelle who is extremely knowledgeable in all phases of design and proper product placement which is critical to a project's success. She was extremely pleasant ; easy to reach and deal with; and amenable to our many design changes. This took tremendous skill to deliver as each phase of this project had many challenges that frankly would be too much to list. We were very specific in what we wanted and Rylex took that challenge and responded with commendable professionalism. After design phases were complete the work was scheduled to begin. This began the easiest construction work interaction we have ever had in any project large or small. This is when we first met Dan. Dan is more then a carpenter. He is truly an artisan. He can make anything work and is by far the friendliest, nicest individual you would ever want to meet. He worked tirelessly on all phases of this project. We are meticulous people and Dan made the project a tremendous success. People are flawed by the work both for its' level of detail, functionality and superior quality. Supervising this wonderful cadre of workers is Chris. He is the one who runs all these projects to ensure they are up to Rylex quality. He too is extremely nice(sense a theme); listens to all of your needs; Never gets frustrated at the customer; and answered all phone calls and took all questions head on and delivered a truly incredible product. You can see that they are a homogenous team. There are many more workers at Rylex some of which I met and they are all fantastic. I have other upcoming projects and you can be sure I will know where to turn to accomplish this. If you are looking for a terrific company that does incredible work then look no more. You have found them. Trust me. We looked at a lot of other companies and they aren't a fluff/filler design shop. They are the real deal. Design, fabrication, installation. No smoke and mirrors. We recently hired Rylex for 3 projects. A closet system for a master bath, shelves/closets for a mud room/ washer/ dryer area. All of which came out lovely. They did a great job designing it. What I am most impressed with however is the walnut custom vanity they made for my bathroom. I brought in a photo of a vanity I liked on Houzz , and the one they made is gorgeous. I would definitely recommend !

Thought about buildng additional closets in my home until my carpenter told me I had wasted space and recommended Rylex. With Janelle's guidance, we reconverted 5 closets and I now have so much space that is well organized and meets the needs of my husband and I. Four of the closets have varied height bars for hanging clothes and several shelves also of varied heights to allow for different types of storage. One hall closet, quite long, just has shelves. In the 2 master bedroom closets, I chose to use the solid shelving, while in the others I used the wire rack style. On the day of installation, Dan presented as a professional, well mannered young man who was meticulous and pleasant to have in my home. I highly recommend RYLEX for all your closet needs.

I am so pleased with my walk in closet. I met with a lot of designers and closet firms and no one made me feel as comfortable as Rylex. I worked with Janelle who did a wonderful job in designing my space. The ideas and recommendations she came up with were amazing and things I would never have thought of. I saw an article in the local newspaper about a closet design and build company that was local and as we had just purchased a townhouse that we wanted to add a few personal touches. After calling the company and speaking with one of the owners, we agreed to having their designer come out to meet with me to understand our needs. We hit is off right away and had a great time coming up with what would constitute the closet designs and plans for all the closets in the unit. She conceived a great plan from my wish list and helped me to figure out how much space I needed for hanging, for drawers, shoes and so forth. This was great. Rylex has excellent selection of hardware, high quality fixturing and great resources for LED lighting solutions. They also helped me find ways to stay within a budget as well. They were awesome. The designer suggested using a foil finish over the wood drawers which created an easy to care for low cost lacquer look and feel. It is terrific and looks brand new two years later. The LED light poles in the master closet are one of many features that makes any and all trips to the closet a delight. Somehow the beautiful and very useful lighting in the walk-in closet creates an atmosphere that makes you want to keep it neat and organized. What more can you ask for? The installing team was just as awesome as the designer and together they worked well at capturing all the details necessary for a great installation. The installation was flawless. It has made my home beautifully organized and a pleasure to live in as the closets are all perfectly personalized for our needs and uses.

I used Rylex Custom Cabinetry and Closets to create spaces in my master bedroom closet, my kitchen pantry, and for shelving flanking my fireplace surround. Each Rylex staff member has been courteous, professional, kind, and extremely knowledgable about cabinet design while keeping costs low. I honestly don't know how they do it! They also have a professional designer who helps create the space of your dreams.
