Robert and his team designed our beautiful farmhouse in Glen Ellen back in 2018. We enjoyed every moment of the design process. Robert was so easy to work with and took our dream and made it a reality. He knew instinctually where the house should sit so it took advantage of the best views and the best sun exposure throughout the year. We absolutely loved working with everyone in his office as well. He is a one-stop-shop; with an in-house interior designer, draftsman, and lighting specialist. His team knows how to get things done in a timely manner while delivering the highest quality product in the end. He also connected us with the builder we used to build the home and he too was a dream to work with as well! All in all, we highly recommend Robert Baumann and his team of talented people to help with a home remodel or new construction project.

We collaborated very well on executing a large amount of railings and the main rotunda of the mansion. He has a great eye for design and has very warm architectural renderings. Robert Baumann is the consummate architect; a client's dream. He has tremendous energy, and displays an ability to communicate well with everyone involved in the project. If you have any concerns, he addresses them immediately. He researches and presents the most efficient systems for your project, thus relieving the client from trying to figure out complex technology. We found, as did others working on the job, his architectual drawings to be accurate and extremely detailed. Robert also has a fantastic ability to interpret design concepts presented to him by the client. He was available 24/7 to answer any concerns we had, or to troubleshoot. While problems arose with others on our project, they never occurred with Robert Baumann. Our house turned out to be better than we expected.

I have worked with Robert close to two years on a large historic property in Sonoma. Robert has done an excellent job of listening about my needs and dreams. He brings much thought to the table but doesn't waste time with design ideas that are outside of the style or scope of the project. He provides a wealth of knowledge and precision detail that allow the contractors to complete the job well and highlights any issues quickly and effectively. I wouldn't want to work with anyone else.
