Scott did an amazing job building our fireplace! We wanted to use the stones from our property and also wanted the fireplace to look like its always been in the room. He personally handpicked each rock as requested and did a beautiful job in a timely fashion. We would highly recommend Rustic stone and garden.

The stonework Scott did for us is excellent. He is an artist and a pleasure to have working on a project. He did both stone walls and foundation stonework ( artistic not structural) and we were extremely pleased with both.

Owner Scott Blundo designed and installed hardscape and other features on my waterfront property in Meredith, N.H. including a natural stone patio, stone walkways, a gravel driveway and a beautiful perched beach. Of most value to me, he took care to capture and enhance the "vintage" character of my property, while adding well-designed outdoor living spaces that my family and guests get great use of now. He also tackled some thorny rain water management issues we faced. Scott won the business in three way bidding and I never questioned my decision. In the fall of 2012 I engaged Scott Blundo, owner of Rustic Stone & Garden, to build a stone wall on my property. I had several people look over the project and I chose Scott due to his excellent references, the quality of the projects he showed me and his competitive pricing. The completed stone wall is a work of art. I get compliments from neighbors and guests all the time. In the spring of 2013, I again contracted with Scott to landscape along the wall with shrubs and perennials. He took several pictures and came back with a design that was both functional and practical for the proximity to the street and the hot summers and snowy winters of New Hampshire. I can highly recommend Scott and will use him for my next project.

Scott's professionalism was obvious before he was hired. His proposal, follow-up and attention to detail were factors that helped us make the decision to hire Scott instead of a lower cost alternative. The result was two straight (with curves) stone walls along a main road with a total length of approximately 150 feet. They were built by a craftsman using time-honored methods and no mortar. The walls are as solid and impressive three years later as they were when constructed. It is not uncommon to see passers-by stop and take pictures of the walls, and a few of those pictures have even found their way onto Google Earth!

My experience with RS&GD was excellent! Scott Blundo is skilled, creative and professional in his design and work. He worked with me on design, pricing and scheduling to be sure I got exactly what I wanted. He communicated on every level with pictures and suggestions that would work for me. In addition to that, he was always cheerful--a pleasure to work with!

Scott of Rustic Stone and Garden Design is a polished professional. I am so happy to have found him to construct a stone wall for our facility. The job was challenging to say the least as the ground angled down in a number of directions. Other masons had surveyed the job and failed to even provide a bid. Scott approached the job as a master and completed the work in a timely manner as promised. I highly recommend him.

Scott did multiple projects for us between 2013 and 2015. He constructed stone walls on our property that he matched to an old retaining wall along the lake. When you look at the property, it appears the walls were done at the same time! He was attentive to our description of what we wanted and then provided input as to how that might best fit our landscape and budget. The stone work was done as part of an overall building project. His work complimented the new house perfectly and he delivered the exact look we wanted. He also designed and installed 2 patios, multiple walkways and granite steps. I can not say enough about the quality of Scott's work and the passion he has for his art. He is also very professional and pleasant to work with. Expensive but worth it. Scott brought all his own materials yet did a great job of matching them to my current rock wall. He worked hard every day and finished the project ahead of time and without issues. His ideas for my project were artistic yet solidly practical. At the end, he left my yard as if no one had even been there, even hauled away my old wooden stairs after setting 7 granite steps perfectly level and immovable.

Rustic built a granite stone fireplace facade for my home. It was a two story project and used full-sized, 8-12 inch stones. Scott did a fabulous job! I say this for several reasons - he provided great ideas on the design, created a beautiful mosaic pattern, and delivered on his schedule and budget. I intend to ask Scott to do additional stone work for other projects planned for my home!

Scott did a fabulous job repairing an old stone wall in front of our summer home in NH. We were not staying there at the time but he went over immediately and identified why the existing wall was crumbling and provided a competitive price for its repair. We worked together via email and he was clearly knowledgeable and responded quickly to all of my questions. The wall was completed on time and on budget (and it's beautiful!) I would highly recommend Scott for all masonry and stone work projects.
