From design to construction, we were 100% satisfied with our kitchen project. We live in a 1970s log cabin that had an outdated and cramped kitchen. Rudy Polwin guided us along each stage of remodeling. He was receptive to our design ideas and, at the same time, provided excellent advice when we were about to go astray. Rudy has a great eye for symmetry and materials, blending all of the elements of a design project into a deceptively simple and elegant result. Once the design was complete, Rudy undertook most of the demolition and construction himself, with help from electricians, carpenters and plumbers as appropriate. As a builder, he is a perfectionist, working to achieve clean lines in a space that was slightly askew, and completing every item on the punch list in a timely manner. He finished the project within budget, with happy clients, and a beautiful product. We recommend him very highly.

Rudy is a gifted, talented architect and builder!! He designed and constructed a screen porch for our home and his attention to detail was unlike any other professional with whom we have worked. He is a perfectionist with a discerning eye for detail. In addition to his skill as an architect and builder, he has a strong work ethic and is a personable and upbeat individual. Rudy will be our go to person for any future construction projects. I am pleased to give him a 5 star rating - and would actually give him 10 stars if I was able to do so.

We hired Rudy to redesign our mid-century cape house in Burlington and could not be more thrilled with his work. He seamlessly incorporated our ideas into a vision we never could have come up with on our own. Our revamped first floor, with a new entryway and kitchen, is so much more open, flows better, is full of natural light, and is entirely more functional. Our renovated second floor, with a totally overhauled bathroom, now incorporates top-notch materials and has a ton of new built-in storage space. The whole house, inside and out, is now touched by unique, distinguishing details. Indeed, other designers, contractors, and homeowners have stopped by just to take a picture of and gain some inspiration from the work visible to the outside. Rudy and his team have my strongest recommendation and we would use them again in a heartbeat.
