As an architect, based on the work that was featured on their website, I was excited to team with LUSH on a very unique tiny home project that is situated on a standard neighborhood sized lot. Needless to say, there was a lot of yard that needed to be dealt with and Ryan and his team seamlessly designed and executed a unique plan that really enhanced and brought the architecture to life. LUSH prides itself on coming up with one of a kind features for each design that they tackle and the result is nothing short of artistic. The installation team was hard working, efficient and friendly and Ryan was always available to discuss each feature before it was installed and was open to consider modifications when requested. In addition, LUSH is careful to use a palette of plants that will thrive in our harsh San Antonio climate where rain water is not so plentiful and he partners with true expert artisans of their craft. I look forward to working alongside LUSH in the future and would recommend them to anyone who values a thoughtful, artistic and one of a kind landscape.

We started a conceptual rethinking of our usable outdoor space with privacy at the forefront. The Lush team came through with very forward thinking designs. We landed on perhaps the more conservative design idea, but not shy of intense problem solving. The team handled all the challenges without cutting corners. If you want things done right and a design that compliments their portfolio I could not speak highly enough about the company. This review is written more than 6 months since the project wrapped. We have survived record breaking heat and now record breaking freezing temps. The bones of landscape design are important and we have them. We received plenty of guidance from Lush throughout the heat and freeze with regards to protecting our investment, but the 'bones' are what we are truly proud of.

From day one working with Ryan and his team was awesome. They under promised and over delivered. Ryan is very creative and helped us get comfortable with unique design and plantings. We are elated with the final product. We are on a golf course so our landscape gets a lot of visibility and numerous people have commented positively and asked who did our landscaping. We are very pleased and don’t think you can go wrong with Lush Greenscape.

Ryan and his team were the utmost professionals. We had a challenging slope on our property but Ryan’s design captured our vision as well as solving the slope issue. Their attention to detail was outstanding. Our front yard looks amazing! We are thrilled and looking forward to working with Lush again.

I hate to write this review as I initially enjoyed working with Lush and Ryan, but I hope to help someone else from wasting their own time and money as I have. Things started ok: Matt and Ryan came out to my home twice to discuss the project and even though there was a few months where we lost all contact with them, they eventually developed a plan four our landscaping which included a pool. Unfortunately, it is now more than 18 months and $4500 later and no progress has been made. We received design drawings for the landscape and pool in September of 2020 with the promise that construction documents would be forthcoming; however, since that time all emails and phone calls to Lush have gone answered. If Ryan was not interested in our project, that's fine, but it sure would have been nice to know almost 2 years and thousands of dollars earlier.

Ryan and Lush are not Landscape Architects alone, they are Landscape Artists. Our yard’s transformation has been magical. This includes terracing, plant choice, concrete work, gates, wood work, and an outdoor shower like no other. It was truly a pleasure to work with Ryan and Lush, we would highly recommend LUSH to anyone contemplating a high end landscape project.

Ryan, Angel and their team were great to work with! The collaborative efforts were full of creativity and resulted in a show stopper! I have no question that we have the best, most unique and customized outdoor space in our area.

Lush GreenScape from start to finish they were top notch and professional throughout the whole job. From the actual artist rendition to the implementation to the finished product they were spot on. For anyone looking to Lushify or beautify their home or business I would highly recommend them. They do incredibly unique one of a kind project. I found this landscaper on Houzz. They had good reviews, and their work looked like something that would fit our home and property Phone conversation with owner (Ryan McWhirter) detailed his deliverables to me for the total price of $2,300: 1) Initial Consult - $200 2) Landscape Architecture Plan (in Color) 3) CAD plans for irrigation and grading 4) Installation Quote - April 3, 2020: in-home Consult/Site Visit #1: $200 - May 21, 2020: Site Visit #2 and Draft Landscape Renderings (b/w in pencil) delivered: 3 @ $700 ea ($2,100) - Jun 17, 2020: Site Visit #3 - July 14, 2020: Telephone Consult with owner Ryan McWhirter -- Discussed status, and conveyed our concern with how long it was taking, as well as the quality of the supposed FINAL PRODUCT which were b/w renderings (we requested them in color). In addition, Ryan suddenly got amnesia ref the request for color renderings and CAD plans, originally promised. The phone call ended with Ryan saying that he wouldn't be willing to do the installation as a result of our aforementioned concerns--there went his 4th deliverable--Installation Quote. He did agree to provide us with better Finalized Renderings in Color (see attached photos) - July 27, 2020: FINALIZED PLAN , after 2 phone calls and a couple of emails Ultimately, we received unprofessional/unimpressive services from Lush GreenScape Design. My foible was moving forward with this effort without a written contract.

Our business needed a new look. I had no vision but knew there was potential. I had seen Lush’s work and thought it might be a good fit. I contacted Ryan, and he his design team started to imagine. They visited our property multiple times and put careful and artistic thought into what is now a beautiful and dramatic transformation. During the process, Ryan communicated with me at every stage and with each update and decision. The landscape and fabrication teams Also approached our project with the utmost care, pride, and attention to detail. They treated our building, the grounds and our business as if it were their own. I trusted Ryan to Do Lush with our project and the results are stunning. I believe that Lush’s work is a contribution that all of our stakeholders, Team members, Customers, Community, and most importantly, the Environment will benefit from and enjoy as beauty for decades. Lush did a remarkable job designing and xeriscaping the exterior of our new house. Our project had some unique challenges that were incorporated beautifully into the design. Everyone from design to project completion was professional and a pleasure to work with. The finished product is beyond our expectations. We have received numerous compliments from the neighborhood. We could not be more pleased.

Lush Greenscape Design has the ability to do varying scales of design, planning and building that bridges the gap between art and functionality. Ryan and his team have a knack for taking a dream and transforming it into art through their design and build process. We hired the Lush Team to update the front of our home which has a unique gully and small bridge. This feature needed to be included in the new design as it is used to manage storm water drainage and control erosion. They did not disappoint! Lush embraced the challenge and masterfully incorporated a one-of-a-kind metal arch trellis with planter boxes creating an inviting courtyard to welcome our guests. The new construction looks like it was part of our home’s original plan which is exactly what we wanted. The result is perfection.

Lush Greenscape Design transformed the property around our home. All the way from design, through the install, Lush exceeded our expectations. Our ideas were taken into consideration during the design process, and evident in the final drawings. The install crews were friendly and polite, treating our property with respect. At the end of each day, the tools were organized, and trash picked up. For anyone who has built a home, you know this is unique in the construction industry! A sign of craftsmen, dedicated to their work and appreciative of the opportunity to create. The final product was transformational, the highest of quality. We can't stop looking, touching, and interacting with our new courtyard and kids play area. It is unlike anything else we have ever seen, and will provide a lifetime of enjoyment. The landscape was built to be sustainable during the wild swings of Texas heat and cold, dry and wet. The design is unique and creative. The plantings are native. A true turnkey design install from a high quality, well run company. Five stars, highly recommended.

We became familiar with LUSH GreenScape Designs--Ryan WcWhirter, owner, through it's amazing projects in the New Braunfels area. What started out as a small project around our pool area quickly turned into a major renovation of our entire landscaping. Ryan's creative talent and support group completely transformed all of our outdoor spaces into a thing of beauty. The design process and meticulous implementation with metal planters and thoughtful plant selection were perfect. We truly enjoyed working with Ryan and everyone on his team. We couldn't have hoped for a better experience.

What an experience. Seriously. Ryan and crew at LUSH were phenomenal to work with. I purchased a house about a year ago with a front yard the neighbors referred to as "Jurassic Park." LUSH turned it into a zero scarped zen garden, which sounds like two contradictory themes, but they pulled it off. Everything they installed was custom-built for the space, and the craftsmanship shows. My job takes me away from home a lot, but Ryan was incredibly patient with my constantly shifting schedule. Jurassic Park had a few curve balls hidden within, but they handled each one deftly and with aplomb. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

We are very pleased and happy with our total landscaping from Lush. Ryan, the owner, understood what we wanted and embellished on the concept giving us a beautiful end result front yard and back that will not be seen anywhere else. Ryan created a crisp, appropriate landscape for our art auction, advisory, and appraisal company located in one of Texas’ most visited cities, New Braunfels. We have an international clientele, with galleries in Manhattan, Texas, and other locations and our Texas gallery is an historic, rustic German Hill Country white limestone and wood building with a striking contemporary steel and glass addition. It’s a high-profile location, and we wanted a landscape that tied the traditional and contemporary designs together. The team at Lush were diligent, detailed and efficient and delivered a finished result on-time. The landscape accentuates the lines and details of the building and our sunken rear garden, and quietly leads our clients to the important works of art consigned and displayed inside. The building and our landscape and rear garden are serene and an oasis for us and our visitors.

We started this project a few months ago with an out of control and overgrown garden. I found LUSH on Instagram and instantly fell in love. I live outside of New Braunfels, and reached out to Ryan hoping they did work in my area. We had to start small, but he made it work for us because they were doing another project in town and we couldn't be happier with the results! The crew was amazing - so professional and meticulous.
