The Roundhere team renovated the entire second floor of our 1910 craftsman bungalow, which included adding two bedrooms and two bathrooms. They were easy to communicate with, set very realistic expectations, were patient with our sometimes fluid ideas, and managed the entire construction for us. Their subcontractors have been their partners for a while, so are very well vetted and professional. They were amazing to work with - it's been a year since they've finished the project and we still miss having them around. Most people think I'm strange when I say I loved our contractors, but we had a great experience.

We purchased the Round Here renovation house in Grant Park 18 months ago and couldn't be happier with our house. From the moment we walked into the property on the open house day we were blown away by the quality of finishes and thoughtful design, taking an obviously dated property and turning it into something fit for modern life but without turning its back on the past, a really classy renovation. Dan and the team have stayed in contact way beyond the purchase and as I see new Round Here Renovation boards go up around the neighborhood it reaffirms my faith that we have chosen a trustworthy company.

We purchased our home from RHR in February 2016 and could not be happier with the quality of our house and the service afterword. This was our first home and my wife and I were very nervous about the purchase. Dan and his team went above and beyond to ensure every last detail was up to the highest standards - as if they were working on their own homes. I recommend them to anyone looking for first class workmanship and professionalism and amazing, thoughtful design.

RHR did everything right on our second story addition. They set a schedule and a price (which also happened to be substantially less than some competitors) and stuck perfectly to both. They were great communicators--always responsive, knowledgeable, and true to their word. When you're disrupting your life for several months and making the size of investment that we were, great communication and trust really help to ease the burden. And the work came out even more beautifully than we expected. They did a great job blending the new space with the 90-100 year old original home. So the price was right, the work is top notch, and just as importantly, the process was smooth.

The Round Here Renovation team just completed our entire home remodel & master addition. From start to finish, Dan & team were wonderful to work with. Incredibly professional and honest people. Long story (7 months) short, we'd hire them again in a second! WE LOVE OUR NEW HOME. It's exactly what we envisioned. This was the first renovation project that either myself or my husband have ever taken on. We bought a 1952 one story brick ranch. RHR team was incredibly patient with us as we gutted and expanded the physical foot print of the house. Renovations are never easy and there are always going to be hiccups along the way. I think my husband and I had un-realistic expectations as to what items actually cost which we believe was our biggest surprise (see #1 below!). In terms of key learnings from us doing our 1st renovation: (1) We should have taken greater responsibility to understand the full cost of authorized adjustments throughout the process prior to green lighting. (2) Confirm all changes / asks in email to ensure all parties are on the same page. (3) THANK THE AH-Mazing team at RHR for making this really nasty brick ranch, our beautiful new home! HIRE RHR!! (We were referred to RHR via Fidelity bank so you know they are solid business folks!) If we ever do a second addition here, they will be our only call.

We recently completed a kitchen renovation with Round Here Renovations. Our experience working with Dan & Todd was incredibly pleasant and low-stress. From day one, they were responsive and easy to communicate with. They offered lots of great, knowledgeable advice, but also listened carefully to our wishes and worked to achieve the end result that best fit our needs. Throughout the process, we felt completely comfortable that they would get the job done right (and they did, of course!) The project finished on time and on budget. The new kitchen exceeds our expectations - we couldn't be more pleased. We hope to have the opportunity to work with RHR again on future projects.

Round Here renovated our kitchen and added a family room on the back of our 1909 home in Grant Park. We hired Round Here Renovations in 2014 to renovate our home in Grant Park. Compared to many of the renovations and new builds that they perform for intown homes, our project was smaller, but they approached and treated the work on our home as if we were one of their best clients. The process started earlier in 2014 when Dan and his team spent time evaluating and estimating the work in great detail. We started in October 2014, and the final scope included the creation / renovation of a master suite (bedroom, bathroom and closet), re-configuring interior space to create an additional bedroom with new wood flooring to match, the addition of a laundry room and pantry as well as repainting most of the house. The reality of renovations in older homes is that you never know what you will find, but Round Here's experience meant that very little was not anticipated. The few things that did occur were well communicated and resolved with minimal impact to the overall project. Round Here's detailed estimating and project planning process meant that we truly could see exactly how any changes we requested during the renovation affected the estimate, and the final detailed outline of all costs involved provided great accountability to basically prove that Round Here are professionals when it comes to renovation and intown new builds. Perhaps the best evidence is that our intown renovation finished under budget.

Round Here Renovations completely renovated our home. The home was frozen in time and needed everything done to it. It couldn't have been a bigger renovation! They guided us through every step of the process from design, selection, construction, and finish. The outcome was great, and they even hit our firm move-in deadline. Dan has done work for many of my clients, and he always does a high quality job. It is a challenging profession, but you have no worry of any contractor horror stories with Dan. They stand by their work.

My wife and I hired RHR to remodel a bathroom in a home we just purchased. Dan and Todd were extremely helpful in helping us come up with a plan and turning our ideas into reality. They walked us through every step of the process and have continued to provide advice on other projects even after they finished the bathroom. We have been very happy with our new (larger) master bath and plan to use RHR on any of our future home improvements!

My wife and I hired RHR to do a renovation of two bathrooms in our town home. Our goal was to update the bathrooms from the existing builder basic finishes, and create a more functional space for our family. The Master bath was basically a full gut job, including some layout changes, and the RHR team did an outstanding job helping us to combine our design ideas with their construction expertise. The guest bath was mostly a cosmetic change, replacing tile, fixtures, and paint. We were living in the home throughout the project, and RHR did a fantastic job of keeping things clean and communicating updates to us. Our project finished on time and on budget, thanks to RHR's planning and management. Overall they were very professional and did a great job, I would highly recommend them.
