We visit New York City monthly and wished for the perfect Pied e Terre. Working with our interior designer, Rose Praino, has been a wonderful experience. She is knowledgeable, talented, organized and extremely trustworthy. Her work ethics are very professional and stands behind and delivers the products purchased. She has great design skills and turned our apartment into an outstanding home.

Resource Furniture

It was an absolute privilege to work with Rose at YDC Design on the Lincoln Center Penthouse project. She enlisted the help of Resource Furniture in maximizing space to provide accommodations for her client's frequent guests. We were very impressed with her attention to detail and the beautiful finished project says it all!

Thank you Resource Furniture! I am a huge fan! Not only are your pieces functional and streamline but incredibly easy to use. The LGM always gets a WOW!, when it's demonstrated for a overnight guest for th first time! It hard for them to imagine that the entire from shelves, filled with books and accessories can be swiveled without removing a single item. Looking forward to our next project together!

Rose and team did an amazing job! I have engaged her covering several projects over a few years. The today project cost was approximately $75,000. YDC is very professional and realizable. During the project, Rose listened, and put me at ease. She and team executed flawlessly. I can't recommend them enough. Just Terriffic.

Rose has the combination of skills you need to get a project done with excellence. First, her design eye is tops. She has imagination based on experience, and she listens, at the start, to what you want to achieve--the look, the feel, the practicality and how to make the most of the space you have. Second, she knows how to execute. A good eye is easy to find; an executive to go with it is not. She knows where to find the deals that carry out the look you want. Third, she stays with a budget you set, and she stays with the usual issues that arise in a major project--the delivery dates, the coordination with the buildling you are in, the ability to bring workmen needed to install and move things, and very important, the ability to send back items you thought you wanted until you saw them "in place." Her accounting practices are professional and transparent. In short, if you want someone who can do your design and executive work from top to bottom, you want Rose.

I think that all the steps involved other than the design and finished project can be easily overlooked when someone is seeking out an Interior Designer. Reaching the finished product is a process that requires attention & experience, because even though it may seem seamless, a lot of effort is put forth to make it seem that way. The wife and husband team of Rose and Frank Praino were first recommended to me by the building manager at my prior apt in 2012 who highly recommended them. I was so pleased with Rose's keen eye on the various color schemes she recommended for each room and the top quality work performed by Frank and his team was flawless. When I moved to my second apt which involved a bigger job, I reconnected with Rose and Frank and once again, I was not disappointed. I feel very fortunate for having connected with the talented YDC Design team of Rose and Frank and their kind and warm personalities are icing on the cake! I shall wholeheartedly recommend them to my family and friends who may need an A+ rated interior design team.

We have worked with Rose on two projects; both times they made our moves easy and worry free and had our new apartments ready to move in and made us feel like we were "home" the minute we walked in.

Rose helped us furnish our rental apartment in the city. She was wonderful to work with. The whole proces was fun and I enjoyed every minute of it. Rose listened to all my "crazy" and made it all work. The apartment looks amazing and I've got many compliments from my friends. Pretty much everyone who enters the apartments starts with the wow!! Thank you Rose.

I hired Rose to add depth and beauty to my home. Rose was highly recommended to me by the management in my building. Immediately after meeting Rose, I knew the fit would be perfect. She was a take-charge professional while simultaneously blending excellent listening skills to ensure we were connected on needs, cost and project timeliness. In all aspects, I give Rose a perfect 10! He husband Frank also helps complement their brand by being an expert in selecting color palettes. I highly recommend YDC for you and can guarantee that you will be happy with their work. Lastly, pricing was not only fair, but Rose often didn't charge me for stopping by and adding extras on the project. A job very well done!

We have worked with YDC design to decorate our NYC apartment and our suburban home. Rose has a keen design eye and a flair for tasteful dramatics. We are thrilled with our stunning apartment - her use of color and fabrics has made our apartment a show-stopper. The YDC design team is all-purpose and were able to handle all aspects of re-decorating our home. Frank is extremely knowledgeable and handy. I don't think there is a issue that he can't handle or a problem that he can't solve. We appreciated their sensitivity to our needs and to understanding how our family functions when creating the designs for our homes.
