Artisan Pools did a comprehensive overhaul of our pool in 2016 and it was not an easy process. Nonetheless, we were pleased with the appearance of the final product, but now two years post-overhaul, we are finding several issues below ground resulting from poor workmanship. At the end of last summer, we discovered that we had a leak, and promptly contacted the owner of Artisan Pools to at least get information about the pressure testing of the pipes that was supposed to be done (and we paid to have done) to which we received no response. We wonder if the testing was not completed by the third-party (ie, charged for work not completed) and/or the owner is really bad with paperwork and returning calls. Now, we are dealing with an automatic filler that is not working. Preliminary findings regarding the automatic filler indicate that it was not installed per manufacturer requirements, thereby voiding the warranty. We have also found other issues related to the gas line that Artisan ran to a patio area that was not capped properly causing a slow leak until a neighbor called the gas company. The bottom line is that you may want to work with another pool contractor. Note: Additionally, please know the reviews on Artisan’s FB page should be questioned since one of them was submitted by the owner’s significant other.
