Born in France, in the family château of the Loire Valley, he was taught by his grandfather the respect of tradition, history and culture. He grew up among his 62 cousins in an atmosphere of high integrity, discipline and warmth. At a very early age he developed his love for Architecture and beauty. After graduating from the School of Architecture of “Beaux Arts” in Grenoble, France, Dominique began a 35 year career in the architectural and general contracting fields. He first worked as a project engineer in an architectural and contracting firm in Grenoble. In 1971, at the age of 25, he was chosen to be the project manager of a French construction firm in Niger (Africa) and was assigned the duty to supervise 500 employees. He completed a variety of projects for the local government and interfaced with international agencies financing those projects. Five years later he landed a new position in an important engineering consulting company in Abidjan (Ivory Coast). He was then given the opportunity to assist the Minister of Planning of the Republic of the Ivory Coast, a challenging job. But nothing was more challenging than being on his own. So he moved to Los Angeles in 1980 to embark on his dream and to establish himself as a leader in European Architecture. In 1982, Dominique formed ROC Design, Inc., an Architectural, General Contracting and Interior Design Firm. In 2001, he was nominated by the French Interior Minister as a French Consultant in commercial trade (CCE).
