As a California Licensed General Contractor, Certified Building Inspector and holder of a Ph.D in Construction Engineering, I an extremely qualfiied to inspect and evaluate construciton industry standards and building code requirements. I also own and operate a building inspection company and have inspected more than 30,000 homes in California since 1983. Generally, in my business i see a significant amount of poor quality, shoddy construction and remodeling work on dwellings. The vast majority of work I inspect is done without the required building permits and falls far below building code requirements and construction industry standards. In 2011 I had an opportunity to inspect a house that my client was buying in Sherman Oaks, California from Rob Rowe. I was very impressed with the quality of the additions and remodel of the home. The home was very beautifully done and overall impressive. The home as staged at the time of inspection and there were four natural wooden tables displayed. As a lover of fine wooden furniture i had to ask you had made the tables. I was surprised to learn that not only did Rob construct/remodel the residence, by had also produced the tables from trees that had been removed from the property. The tables were so awesome to behold that my client simply had to buy the tables and keep them in the home after the close of escrow. Not only can I highly recommend Rob as a building contracor but also as a furniture designer and manufacturer of fine natural wood products.
