When our family began to outgrow our old house, we took the opportunity to build the custom home of our dreams. R. Lewis Construction came highly recommended and now we know why. Mr. Lewis led us through the building process from start to finish with professionalism, skill and heart. The whole team was a pleasure to work with and took great pride in their work. The quality and craftsmanship was beyond our expectations. There were several trades involved in the overall construction and Mr. Lewis made sure the work was carefully coordinated to keep the build flowing so that it was completed in the timeframe he initially gave to us (which is quite impressive with all of the curveballs of a global pandemic!). Mr. Lewis was also able to work with us on sticking to our budget and providing us suggestions and options to meet our needs. Perhaps the most refreshing aspect of the whole experience has been the responsiveness of R. Lewis Construction to our every concern and question - even after the project was complete. They are prompt, they are courteous and they truly care. I'm not sure how many people get to say their building experience was fun, but truthfully, I would do it all over again! We are beyond thrilled with our new home and can't wait to start making memories that last a lifetime in it. Thank you to the whole team at R. We purchased our home when the basic frame work was up. So it’s not a “custom” home. However, we picked everything out for the inside of our home (paint, granite, flooring, lights etc.). I know some customers love his work but we had a bad experience throughout the whole process. We paid close to $600,000 for a “quality” Ron Lewis home. However, the quality was horrible. This was our 1st time buying a new home and it’s made us question and have doubts about our decision we made. We lost trust in who we thought was a reputable builder, I lost a lifetime friend ( our sales agent), & we almost lost our family over this house. Ron used cheap materials (paint, wood, doors, fixtures, sod…). We paid for a high end front door but received a cheap/cracked wooden door that was split before we moved in. They’ve “patched” some of their mistakes which is still noticeable since we’ve moved in. We’re having to have the whole interior repainted at our cost due to his sorry work. The sod he put in our yard was full of weeds and still is full of weeds. Which we were told they’d “grow their way out”??? We argued numerous times that the house needed French drains due to a very wet yard and we argued that the house needed gutters (which he eventually installed). Any requests we made, Ron & Charles would always have an excuse as to why we didn’t need what we wanted even though we were going to pay extra for it. We were told that the cracking of our cabinets (which we paid extra for nicer cabinets)was normal??? Our front door still hasn’t been fixed/replaced, there’s loose shingles on our roof still, none of the interior doors lock correctly, the granite company broke a piece of granite then glued it back on when it should have been replaced. I could go on and on. Some issues are minor but some are major structural issues that we shouldn’t be dealing with in less than a year of moving in. So with paint and caulk on the wooden floors and tile that we can’t get off, we have to live in a house that we despise! The agents got their checks, Ron moved on to the next 10-15 house he was building and now we don’t exist to Ron. It’s obvious that he could care less abt the quality of his work. All he wants is the money. I’m not the only homeowner that feels like this about his work. I’ve talked to several other homeowners and they’re dealing with similar issues. Needless to say, I know a lot of people will disagree BUT a lot will also agree with me about their experience with Ron Lewis Construction. One last thing that’s completely out of line is during our final walk through before closing, we were told by his agent that we were being TOO PICKY about things we saw that needed to be fixed! Point blank… I would never recommend Ron Lewis Construction to anyone!

Ron built us our custom home in 2013. It was a pleasure to work with him. He was involved in every step of the process and we had full confidence in his leadership. He is honest, trustworthy, transparent, and creative in helping make our dreams a reality within our budget. Even when things didn't go as planned, he was quick to resolve the issue. His subcontractors seem to respect him and enjoy working with him. We would give him the highest recommendation.

While having a dream of a perfect Home, Ron Lewis have come beyond perfection. His professionalism , passion and dedication to perfection has made a dream a sweet reality.
